It used to work for me until the last update. It will sync activities but not step count.

I was in the same position choosing between the flex and the one. I chose the One and love it. I think you get a more accurate reading if its on your side that on you arm. And like others has said, it's convenient to look at the steps you have taken so far.

I have had a fitbit one for about a week now and I love it. One thing I like about the fitbit app is it has an activity section. you can manually input activities and it will adjust your steps and calories based on the activity. I picked up my fitbit one last week off of craigslist for $40. So far, I love it. I have it connected to MFP, runkeeper, and the Walgreens app to earn points.
