It's my 40th birthday and I'm celebrating the loss of 130 pounds...I'll be so sad if I don't manage!

So.Much.Yuck. I'm disappointed because I really liked the other non- protein bars that I tried. On the other hand, maybe it is a good thing...because I REALLY liked the other bars.

I like Syntrax Matrix in peanut butter cookie and mint cookie. They are too sweet for me as is but I cut the sweet with peanut butter powder and cocoa powder.

Siggi's Strawberry Rhubarb Skyr!

It could be escarole.

I found this stevia sweetened dark chocolate at Whole Foods today. I've tried the almond and the coconut; tasty and a nice texture. 1/3 of a bar is about 115 calories and quite satisfying. Due to the addition of inulin, they also have 20 grams of fiber per whole bar. Total carbs, 40 per bar, can be on the high side for…

Not strange, per se, since I was in a greenbelt but I startled a skunk and narrowly missed being sprayed!

I walked a mile the night I had my surgery. I couldn't sleep and calculated the distance of a lap in my hospital wing and kept track of every lap I competed. The nurses posted my calculation for other patients! By a week out, I was able to do three miles total in a day at a decent pace. I was back on my bike at 4 weeks.…

Be 150 or less by my 40th birthday in 3 weeks. Run a 10k on aforementioned 40th birthday in 60 minutes or less. Drink less coffee.

I want to be at 150 before I turn 40 in 3 weeks...5 pounds to go. Totally doable. My weight loss has slowed to a crawl but my overall fitness has improved exponentially. I'm signed up for a 5k on my birthday but I ran 10k this morning...thinking of converting to the longer distance.

Enlightened ice cream bars or sugar free Jell-O powder mixed with cottage cheese (let it sit in the fridge for a while to fully dissolve and thicken).

I walked a mile the night of my surgery...I was very happy that I had my music to listen to and had my own slippers. I didn't sleep much at all but I was happy to have my own pillow when I was in bed. Lip balm for sure! I was very thirsty and chapped when I woke up. Luckily, I just spent one night for my…

I ran 10.4k this morning!

I know exactly what you mean. After I had my oldest nine years ago, I started wearing all black 95% of the time. A big reason for this was just practicality; as a single mom, it made getting dressed and doing laundry a hell of a lot easier. Of course, now I can be honest with myself and say that it was also about not…

BTW...you can buy each level of 30 Day Shred on Amazon separately and then play it on demand on a tablet or phone or TV device like a Roku.

I started Shred It with Weights in January and I love the results I've been getting. My arms look amazing. Jillian is annoying as hell but I love the results in a short workout time. I've also done 30 Day Shred with great results.

I love those!

The egg is probably soft enough for you to manage but that soup is a salt bomb! Also, think about the fact that you should be separating liquids and solids.
-
I prefer large curd and I like to mix in a little sugar free Jell-O mix; best if you can make it ahead and let it sit in the fridge for a while.

I get great Marika leggings and capris 2 for $27 on Groupon!

Leaner ground beef, cooked medium rare with Laughing Cow Swiss wedge spread on top. Thin buns.

285 pounds to 155 pounds. Goal is 150 by end of April...final goal still to be determined.
-
285 pounds and 168 pounds. I'm down about 10 more since then; five and change to go until goal.

I haven't located Enlightened pints yet, but I really enjoy their Salted Caramel ice cream bars. Single serve are less dangerous for me than a pint. I've had some Halo Top that was okay but I really enjoyed So Delicious No Sugar added coconut milk ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, and butter pecan. I do find it a bit too…

I love the dark chocolate version of these!

I finally committed to the process and to have the surgery a little over a year ago (23 March 2015). I weighed 285 pounds at 5'4"and 39 years old. I'm not sure on my sizes because I specialised in stretchy leggings and oversized tops...but there were at least two Xs in front of the L. I lost about 30 pounds…

I started out with a lot of biking, walking, and elliptical with the occasional 30 Day Shred worked in; swimming too during the summer. Now I'm doing a lot of jogging (about 15 miles/week) elliptical, and kettle bells (Shred It with Weights). I also try to throw in some planks, plank rows, and some other plank torture to…

Just watch the total carbohydrate count. Pudding mixes often have starches for thickeners and can add up if you're not careful!
