What is Mashec? I am 5'4" and 10 years older than you. I would fall over if I only ate 1000 calories per day! Any medical conditions happening?

Having been up and down with my weight my entire life, there are too many comments that hurt and/or made me cry. The only that made me truly angry was when my SO at the time told me if I didn't lose weight in a month he was leaving me. I told him he could go flock himself and showed him the door.

Edmonton, Ab from Toronto and over 50. Feel free to add!

Now you are talking about spot reducing. Unfortunately your body doesn't just lose wherever you want it to. It would be wonderful if it did!

I'm rarely hungry in the morning. I'm up at 6 and only have coffee (2 at the most) before 11. Lunch happens around 2pm and I have a snack around 4. Dinner 7ish. I don't eat after 8 pm, but only because if I eat too close to bedtime, I don't sleep well. If your body is hungry in the morning...Eat

I'm 55 and still have quite a ways to go. You are welcome to friend me, just know that I don't care about competing. I'm only running this race for myself. Welcome to MFP!

I add a squeeze of lemon or lime to water. You can purchase fruit infuser/water bottles so you can use any kind of fruit you love to flavor your water.

I'm having one of those days today. Not pms, that's long gone. I did however sleep like crap last night. So now I'm a tired and hangry "B".

Invite her to go walking with you. Might be she's just feeling left out.

I used them back in the days when I didn't know any better. My friends and I called them "poopoo" teas. The results are temporary at best. Save your money and drink some free water.

Possibly one of the more ridiculous things I've read here and I love bananas. Eating 12 a day for just 1 day, I'd never eat another banana again. Is this method supposed to give you the nasty squirts? Do you think getting the runs is a detox? How the heck did you come up with this?

LOL, pine cones <snort> love that

Unfortunately people are still looking to believe the "nonsense". Ever had someone ask you how you lost the weight and you say something like " I just made sure that I took in less calories than I burned", then you get that look of disbelief. It's usually accompanied by how they are using or thinking of using, green tea,…

I still have not seen this.

So sweat really is fat crying! All the more reason to get a good nights sleep, breathe deep and work up a good sweat when you work out.

Nay!

Agree, especially with the bolded statement.

I LOVE dairy! Yogurt, cheese, milk, ice cream. Yeppers never gonna give em up. I couldn't be happier that I am not lactose intolerant.

Not for me. I drink about 4 cups per day and I am near clear all the time.

Give me another 5 years to retire and I'm all over that!

MMMM turkey with Dijon mustard, lettuce and tomato on 12 grain bread. Love my lunch time Sammy. Works for me as I'm not a big starch eater at dinner time.

I just started the beginner work out last week and it still kicks *kitten*. You can step up the movements and give it more oompf if you have the energy.

Similar story here as well. Welcome back! I am taking it slower this time and hope that by doing so I'm retraining my appetite to be content with maintenance calories long before I get there. My issue was never losing, it is the maintaining part. Sending you a Canadian friend request ;)

If you are speaking of the ones you can purchase at the drug store, walmart etc, read the side of the box. All will say something along the lines of "use with a calorie controlled diet". Its the calorie control that contributes to weight loss, NOT the pill.
