I'm with you, and when I don't have a full work load (like right now) the days are even looooooooonger.
-
Not true, but eating to few calories may cause you to be miserable, not nutritionally balanced, and give up easily
-
How many pounds lost per week did you enter and at which activity level?
-
LOL good question. I record to show Ive moved and burned but I'm really not trying to eat them back. just nice to know I have a cushion on those days if I am hungrier.

High Five!

Welcome! The good news is you don't need to buy special food. You can do this by eating all the foods you enjoy (just less of them). Don't be shy about asking for help or support. You found a great bunch of people here.

Looking good and awesome hair colour!

I think you are my long lost twin! I could not have said this better myself.

My dh cannot eat warm fruit. So no compotes, warm fruit pies, toppings etc. Threw up after eating 1 too many McD's apple pies when he was kid. Some memories stick forever.
-
Just keep in mind that the MFP calorie burned calculator is notorious for over estimating. Good rule of thumb is to only eat 1/2 those calories back.

55 years old. Been at this for a while and will be here for a long time to come. Feel free to add me. :)

This is what I am doing as well. My difficulty has always been maintenance. I can drop the calories and lose the weight like a champ but always regained. The plan is to now eat AT my goal maintenance calories to reach and maintain my forever goal weight.

I have a 9 year old pit. When she was a pup, I thought she was so dumb in comparison to my older pittie. Turns out she was just a late bloomer. She's actually very smart and of course a big cuddly baby.

1900 calories a day is perfectly fine at your current weight. 1200 seems very low to start at. Personally I would be hangry and miserable all the time and would probably give up before long. Being diabetic, you already know you have to keep an eye on your sugars. A small Mickey D's ice coffee should be manageable from time…

Why oh why do I always come across these threads at 3 in the afternoon when hunger is kicking in? Anyway 2nd the comment on keeping a variety of spices on hand. Often times I have more spices/ condiments on hand than I have food to season. ETA: If you have a dollar store or bulk store handy, you can get small amounts of…

ETA: BTW you do not look 196. You look far lighter than that.

Incredible commitment and dedication to lose that in such a short period of time. Congrats and Applause! You look fantastic!

LOL, I go through this EVERY DAMN DAY! The area of construction has been under construction for almost a year now, and still.....GRRRR

This happens ALOT! I worked in a pharmacy for years and customers would come in crying the blues about using slimfast and gaining. Still have to watch those other calories consumed!

Today I am comfortably wearing a pair of jeans that were in one of my "too small" bins. :)

OK this is going to sound silly but I actually taped a small pillow on to the seat. Allows me to get some more time on the bike but I still hate stationary bikes anyway.

Isn't there a disclaimer that whips by on the screen to say that the show is for "entertainment value" or some such nonsense, and to see your doctor for weight loss advice?
-
I can't stand plain water unless I'm incredibly thirsty so I always add a bit of flavor and keep a big bottle close by to sip on through the day.
-
+ 1 to that! OP, are you drinking enough water throughout the day? Thirst can mimic hunger, so try drinking a glass full and seeing if that helps.

I can't find it on the Mayo clinic site. Might be a link that makes you think you're there. Found the dynamic diet website though and looks like a calorie reduced diet with the addition of miracle drops. Save your money OP.
