My doctor put me on a 20 lb limit on weights for the rest of my life. With no uterus we are at risk of vaginal vault prolapse. Having had a uterus prolapse I am following his reconditions. He also said not to run to jump too much. I am walking, swimming, and doing pilates.

I live in a red sandstone desert. So the sand is sand dune type sand. But it has rocks etc. Maybe every 5th step is in sand if that makes sense.

Me. 4 kids ages 10,8,6,4. I work out in the morning before they get up. My dh and I trade off but sometimes both go at once and have cereal and milk out for the kids to get started in the morning with out us. My 10 yo is very responsible and babysits regularly. She took the Red Cross CPR and baby sitting course and the…

I am a homebirth midwife and a homeschooling mother of 4 so that pretty much takes up all of my time. :) I also love to garden and grow my own food, walk, hike and camp. I am learning how to crochet.I love to bake which is a problem eating Primal. I read a lot. Usually 1,000-2,000 pages per month.I would like to work…

I would love to join. I have the time and energy to put into myself for the next 3 months. :)

Changing to a primal/paleao (no sugar or grains) diet really changed my joint pain and other issues with my hormones. Good luck.

I maintained this week which I feel is pretty good considering I went on vacation and had no control over food choices for 3 days. This week I will drop another 2-3 lbs my goal.

I am down to 187 so down 7 in the 3 weeks. Missed the last weigh in because I was sick.

I think I am going to do the Bacon Cauliflower soup tonight. Thanks.

Walk at least 30 min EVERYDAY. This used to be the norm for me 5 years ago and it will again. Zumba 2 days a week.

I agree I will avoid the couch/bed. After bedrest for a pregnancy and a major surgery I still spend a lot of time in bed as a habit. Grains- I eat primal/paleo and feel great when I avoid the grains. Sugar- except for the occasional chocolate maybe once a week and I will allow icecream/snow cone three times before July.…

Due to kids and my job (midwife) I am chronically tired. I am often up all night at a birth then I still have to care for my kids. It gives me a lot of excused to eat poor food at odd times and not exercise. Not anymore. :)

Last Tuesday I was 195 this Tuesday 192. I am happy with that. My goal is 2 lbs per week. Ultimate goal 150.

I am Dy age 30 and 5 ft 8, wife and mother of 4 kids 9,6,5,and 2. I have about 40 pounds to drop I lost all my weight after my first two but due to some physical limitations I had a much harder time getting the weight off. I had a hysterectomy in Dec. of 2010 which kept me not exercising for another 6 months. Point being I…

Thanks for all of the positive thoughts guys. I know it will come off and truly for me it is worth it for the amount of pain I was in before the surgery. I am on a restriction for ever on some things. No running, jumping, or lifting anything over 20 lbs. Just trying to be active every day.
-
Thanks for the ideas/support guys. Life is actually much better post surgery regardless of the weight gain. I have 4 wonderful children I am grateful for. One thing is the recovery took much longer than I thought it would. My doctor told me I would be ready for air travel 4 weeks after my surgery and I was flat on my back…

This is my first mini goal. Congrats!

Made my food diary public for those who want to look. Didn't track the days I was eating what ever(the last few). And like everyone some days are better than others.

Answering all of the above: Don't do caffeine of any sort. Never have. Don't do a lot of sugar or junk food-no soda, sugared cereals, fruit snacks, sugared yogurt, etc. Dessert when I go out or a cookie or two with my kids when we bake together. Thyroid and hormones have been checked just before starting MFP and everything…

Not doing the bars but had a stressful week and ate out more than normal. Looking over my diary I may not have been accurately tracking everything. Going to hit it hard core this week. On that note how many carbs do you aim for a day? I am not willing to cut veggies and want to do 2 servings of fruit a day.
-
Stayed with in my MFP calorie recommendations 1430 with out exercise and about 1800 with exercise. I exercise 5 days a week. I reviewed my diary and I did have a few days where my carbs were closer to 100. So that may be it but still much less than normal.

I love Zumba and one of the great things about it is being able to adjust it to your needs. I had a hysterectomy and bladder repair a few months ago and am not supposed to lift more than 20 lbs, do ab work, or jump but I just alter it to what works for me. Women of all sizes and some men too at my gym, at the other place I…

I have seen the info for their breads but never for their tortillas or granola. HMMM...

I can tell. Mostly in the love handle region and in the muffin top region.I have those too but am not brave enough to post pics. I have to loose a lot for anyone to notice. I am one of those people who wears a size 10 when I weigh 135 or 160 it just hangs differently ( not what I weigh now). It is frustrating, but good job…

As fun as Zumba is at home I really encourage everyone to do a class. The environment is intoxicating and so motivating. I go to two different places. One is a traditional gym with mirrors and lots of hard bodies and fake boobs, not so much fun but still a great work out. I also go to a warehouse type Zumba class where the…
