  • I make it with wine or stock instead of water and I like to add Greek yogurt to it with a tad of cheese.
  • I eliminated anything "artificial" in my diet and that seemed to help me. I buy everything possible organic and natural, I felt like my body recognizes it better than the Smart Ones meals and such that I had started out eating. It is a tad more expensive but I see it as an investment in myself. That is what works for ME,…
  • Mine still sags with an array of stretchmarksm after 2 kids and 35ish lbs lost. It doesn't get better for ME, but I also had 2 c-sections, so that might be something to hinder the tightening of the skin. Creams and stuff really don't work. When I get down on myself about it, I read this poem: A mark for every breath you…
  • Pleasant Prarie Wisconsin. http://www.pleasantprairietriathlon.com/ Then look up the Sprint Duathalon part:)
  • Redplum.com, coupons.com, smartsource.com and my favorite is Target (since you can double a target coupon with a manuf. coupon). Enjoy:) Also, MoneySavingMom.com does weekly Organic, healthy food type coupons onher site. I have found various brands from kashi, Earthbound Farms, Moms Best, Justins etc.
  • I agree, go and get fitted. I am knock-kneed and have flat fat feet and they found a pair of shoes that are PERFECT for me. They made me run around the store to see how my stride was and how my foot landed and where I put my weight first. Best thing I ever did for shoes!
  • I have Brooks and love them. I am doing C25K (week 2) and run outside with it. I prefer treadmill running anyday over outdoor running. I run outside because I figure it's where I am going to have to complete my 5K, plus it's nice out. I am slowly "enjoying" running.
  • Thanks! We are going to be avid runners in no time. Good luck!
  • Yes, it does have a chest strap.
  • I used to drink that as a breakfast too but the sugar is outrageous. I switched to low calorie premade protien shakes (Target, Wlamrt or Costco) or soymilk mixed with Designer Whey Protien mix. I have tried the Atkins ones too and like them as well. I need low calorie, low sugar and beneficial as a breakfast. That is what…
  • What brands are ones to stick with?
  • I like to run mainly and I really don't care for ellipticals, feels odd to me. But I will use them when on vacation in their workout centers just to switch it up.
  • I shall have to check there. I really don't care if it's used. Now to hear what brands to search for and avoid!
  • I agree! I have 2 little girls and at our house we say 'front buns'. I HATE when my MIL says to my very thin girls, "gotta get some schpeck on you". I cannot stand the work schpeck.
  • I have had nausea and stomach issues/cramps after I eat for over a month now. Mine is looking like it's gall bladder issues after I finally went to the doctor. If it lasts longer than 1-2 weeks I would for sure go to the doctor because it could ber serious.
  • I wear mine sometimes for my whole time at work, just to see what I burn.
  • I bought the one that was rated high by consumer reports. It's not super sexy looking but works fabulous and was about $40. It's a chest-strap kind though. Its a Timex T5G971 Unisex Sports personal Heart Rate Monitor Watch. You can find them all over and online. After workout it shows me my total time, time 'in zone',…
  • I wish it was a baby, but not the case. Can you develop a gluten intolerance out of the blue? If so, it seems like meals that have a bread, pasta, or something like that, it's worse...appt shall be made Monday.
  • It's fabulous! No one judges and everyone is SO positive and helpful. I make sure to read some posts every day/night to keep my mind on weightloss and I also keep finding some great recipes!
  • Nothing tastes as good, as what being 'skinny/thin/fit/healthy' feels. Or, Mcdonald's cone to get your ice-cream fix?
  • 1/2 C Soy Sauce, 4 Packets of Splenda, 1 Clove chopped Garlic, and 1-2 small diced onions. Makes a Teryaki-like chicken. (2-4 Breasts) Lipton Onion Soup mix, and a tad bit of water. Onion Chicken. (4-6 breasts) Hunts no sugar added tomato sauce, mushrooms. Serve with mozzarella cheese melts on top. (4-6 breasts) Taco…
  • I wonder the same thing...my HRM always says I burn more walking than running, but running feels like I work harder.
  • I am 5'2'' and was 180 when I got pregnant with my second baby. I only gained 17 lbs because I ate my alotted 300 calories or so extra a day and that was really it. I was already heavy so for me to gain weight was actually a negative thing if it was too much. Also, I wasn't able to breastfeed with both my pregnancys and I…
  • I like your eyelid comment, made me laugh:)
  • I weigh myself each morning, naked. I just did last night because at work we are doing a Biggest Loser Challange.
  • I use it from start of my warm-up to end of my cool down, because it tracks my time and calories and I am burning calories from the second I start until I second I am done.
  • I like the Arnold Sandwich thins as well. They also make bagel thins too. I like them toasted with a wedge of laughing cow cheese on it, or with an egg beater (flavored with Tastefully Simple Bacon Bacon) on them, spray butter, and a wedge if laughing cow cheese. Great substitute for a bagel and gives you a bread fix:)
  • I used to buy expensive stuff for working out, but now I spend more of my money on good shoes and socks. I agree with most everyone that Walmart, Target and I like Kohls TekGear brand too, are great buys. For shoes, I found that a lot of the shoes I have gotten, are on Overstock.com. They have my $120 pair of shoes on…
