Aw man, these are great! I also used to eat the "weight watchers zero point soup" and throw salsa in there ... http://www.food.com/recipe/ww-0-point-weight-watchers-cabbage-soup-128956 But I'm a LOVER of BORSCHT so the cabbage was YUM. :)

Hello - please don't continue to beat yourself up over your past. That, of course, is easier said than done, but I'm asking you to please try not to look back. There is only TODAY and the choices you make TODAY. I tried to get on this whole fitness/weight loss thing for about a decade and it never stuck. I would start,…

I don't know if this will help or hinder ... but as a former "fat girl" I wrote a blog post about people who are heavy and at the gym. ... http://redwritinghood.ca/1858/dear-fat-people/ Heather

True ... I meant only in my weight loss goals :) PLENTY of setbacks in the rest of my life!!

Thanks :) I am not used to set backs that were my fault ... or possibly I've just viewed every other set back as NOT MY FAULT, lol... :)

Yep, absolutely ... especially in the winter.

I've really liked these seeds since I started using them... I'm making the pudding tonight and have put them in oatmeal, bars and such... I quite like them. Dr Oz has a few recipes: http://www.doctoroz.com/blog/lindsey-duncan-nd-cn/chia-ancient-super-secret I mostly eat them for the fibre and omega-3s. I have friends who…

So I contacted Fitbit and they sent me an upgraded scale... something about not working with my router? Anyway... it has synced and I weighed myself. Only weird thing is that it showed me 161.7 lbs and then when it synced with Fitbit it synced as 161.7 Maybe it rounds up :) I think I like my WW scale a bit better as it…

Awesome! :)

I have a sneaking suspicion that many replying here don't actually have school-aged kids. It's all well and good to plan what kind of future your kid has scholastically... but you have no idea what kind of student you've gotten until he/she is in school. I loved school, I consider myself a lifelong learner... I assumed…

Me too! You are strong... this is eeeeeeasy for you!

Less chat, less fat, mutherf***er. It was written on the wall of my gym in chalk when I first walked in... I knew I was at the right place. :)

When my hair is dripping and I can't walk down the stairs without a serious death grip on the railings :)

Bumpin' for the yumminess!

"That's because it was not written clearly," said the writer. :) This thread is hilarious. I love Katysmelly... hunger sure makes people grumpy! Word!

So fun :) I was going to guess student...

I like mine. I definitely stay more active to hit my 10,000 step mark. I know that my run will give me at least 5000 and a boxing workout might be 3000 ... it's hard on days like today when I work in a sedentary setting and I'm hardly at 1000. I start to get nervous, lol... It takes a while to get used to not logging…

If you log the exercise activity into MFP, it will double count... So just use the START/STOP setting and it will log an activity on FB, and eventually it adjusts on MFP. For example, today I ran to go pick up my van and it logged 173 calories ... when I double log, MFP counts it as 182. Pretty close.

Yes, you paid $100 for a pedometer... don't think it's claimed to do anything but count steps and sleep habits ... the calories are based on the steps so if you walk 100 steps or run 100 steps I think the calorie count is the same. There's nothing about it that could measure calories other than using your weight/age/steps…

I have signed up for the Spartan Race "WOD" or Workout of the Day... and a lot of it is based on cardio and body weight exercises. You might like it: www.spartanrace.com But I also second the recommendation for the Nike Trainer app.

what kind of gyms do you all go to? lol I don't even have an opinion on what others wear or should not wear to the gym... and I put my hair in a pony tail because I hate it on my back when I work out. I wear what fits and what I can sweat in without it becoming uncomfortable. End of story :)

Thanks all :) I do try to make some "me" time... usually it's the gym! Also, I'm looking at cutting back on some work shifts, I love my work (I'm an EMT and I also dispatch an emergency helicopter) and it's super rewarding... but so is taking care of myself. I can't seem to master that eating thing after 7pm. Totally my…
