Great... thanks all... sounds like I am doing more or less the same thing as everyone else then, logging 'formal' exercise activities and things like 2 hours cleaning the house or gardening, which aren't that frequent an occurrence ;)

Also forgot to ask, is eg the 40/40/20 thing based on the total grams or the amount of calories from those types of foods? (does that even make sense??) EDIT - got it now - when you go to change it it calculates it for you! Phew...

Ah found it! What's a good balance for a highish protein/lowish carb diet?? Or what's the best balance for weight loss?

Can you take some sugar-free mints and have one when you feel tempted by the cake?? I find brushing my teeth can stop me craving bad stuff (my weaknesses are crisps and cheese!) as I know the minty flavour will make everything taste yuck anyway.

I always seem to be over, even though I have cut down my fruit intake from 3-4 to 1-2 pieces a day and never eat bananas any more even though I used to have one every day for breakfast... I now have tomatoes with my breakfast and raw carrots as a snack, that helps with keep the sugars down. But it seems pretty much…
