How do you do this? Is there a website or do you contact a local troup?

This is something I've also almost given up. I have it very rarely now. Like maybe once or twice a year.
-
I rarely snack but when I do it's usually either chips or nuts.

Skipping one meal here and there is not starving your body. But that aside, I find the differences in people so interesting. I am the exact opposite. I find that if I'm eating when not hungry I'm more likely to eat purely for pleasure, which may not always be what is best for me. But if I wait until I'm really hungry just…

My opinion is that it works for me. That's about as far as it goes though. Some days I am hungrier than other days so I some days I eat more than other days. And some days I don't eat much even though I may be hungry because I know I'll want to splurge tomorrow (or maybe I splurged yesterday).

I live in a small rural town. I can't find it locally so I buy it online. Amazon carries it but it's cheaper to buy direct. It is quite a bit more expensive than regular pasta though. https://fibergourmet.com/4-pasta

Fiber Gourmet pasta. 1/2 the calories of regular

I would (and do) call it a vegan diet, which would not say anything about the rest of your lifestyle, but would accurately describe the diet.
-
I wish people would call plant based eating what it is, a diet based on mostly plants. ;)

Me too!

This! You don't have to meet your goal every day but you should be pretty close if you average it out over a week or so. But it's perfectly fine to have low days and high days to meet that average goal.

Breakfast: big mug of tea Lunch: bbq beans with hot peppers and onions, topped with a egg Dinner: Baby greens with a ginger soy dressing and chicken yaki soba Dessert: handful of cinnamon almonds

I have no choice but to be curvy (when my BMI was 19 my hips were 36 in and I wore a D cup). I don't care whether my abs show or not as long as my belly is flat.

I agree. When I saw that pic and the read the post I was confused. I don't remember thinking she was muscular back in the day. She just looked like she needed to eat a good meal.
-
Agree with the above. Just look for a balance, not perfection. Just like you balance other things in life - necessary bills vs. money spent for pleasure or work vs. play - balance your diet. Determine the number of calories you need to eat to accomplish your goals (don't be in a rush!). Eat what you need to eat to get the…

What type of things do they like now? It's really hard to tell what other people will like. But I can give you a few examples of healthy meals we've had recently * Catfish nuggets with habanero tarter sauce, blackeyed pea salad, raw sugar snap peas * Grilled pork chops, homemade apple sauce, collard greens sauteed in olive…

It's only about 1.6 g more protein per serving than regular pasta, but I guess that is something.

When you take fat out of the equation you are left with carbs and protein, both of which have 4 calories per gram so look for dense foods like beans, lentils, bananas, pasta, etc. But you can also just eat more fat. It's a tasty way to get more calories. Even if you have a medical need to watch saturated fats you can eat…

Also, paleo isn't required for your needs. If you want to try it that's fine, but it eliminates things like beans that are very nutritious and contain neither gluten or lactose.

Grilled, roasted, poached or sauteed meat, fish or seafood. Sides of vegetables, fruits, rice, buckwheat, quinoa or other naturally gluten free grains. Omelets or fritatas or other egg based dishes. Soups and stews. Bean soups or salads. Read labels of soy sauce carefully as many contain wheat.

I have no suggestions, only empathy. I had the same problem. All I got were people telling me it wasn't a problem for me because it wasn't a problem for them.
-
I thought this was going to be about someone not getting enough protein and/or calcium so they were losing bone and muscle.
-
I find it odd that they don't put the ingredients on the website. Not much in the way of vitamins or fiber for something supposedly made of vegetables. I use Fiber Gourmet brand pasta. Less calories than this and high fiber. I can put the veggies in the sauce or on the side. https://fibergourmet.com/pasta/3-penne.html

And there are loads of plans and ways of accomplishing that.
-
Yes, I do it as a lifestyle. Even though I'm in maintenance now I still eat at a deficit during the week so I can overindulge on the weekends.
-
I do this all the time, though not intentionally. I'll just take the glass to the kitchen, get dinner started and come back to the living room, notice I left it, go get it and bring to living room, return to kitchen to taste/stir/add to dinner and notice I left the glass in the living room, return to get it and bring to…

Sounds like a solid plan. I do the same with most things I want to cut back on but not give up entirely. I find that having the weekend to look forward to helps keep me on track throughout the week. Good luck!

I love marinated mushrooms, so I'd definitely give it a try. And now I really want some mushrooms.
-
As I do I for taste. Which is healthier depends on the butter and the margarine IMHO.

That last statement isn't quite true. Fully hydrogenated oils do not contain trans fats. Partially hydrogenated oils contain trans fats. And there are margarines available without them, such as the Smart Balance that I suggested.
