I know what you're going through!! It's not nice. Anyway, I always try and remind myself that exercise is so good for the mental health and if I don't feel like going to the gym or similar I try not to be too hard on myself and pick a different form of exercise. Maybe just a nice evening walk, or a hike to an area I've…

You just have to find the right one for your body. I'm on Yasmin as it works well for me. Absolutely no side effects and I've been on it for 8 years. I actually find that if I don't have it (took a break last year to see how I felt as was originally put on it for hormonal balance) and gained weight immediately. Went back…

I'm not strictly vegetarian but don't eat meat often so have alternatives mostly. I'm a very busy college students and this is what I've found easiest to pack and take on the run/in the car. They can all be tailored to personal taste. Peanut butter (or other nut butter) with jam or honey on a good quality bread with plenty…

I'm not super fussy, just want to feel good about my body which for me is around 125. However I wanted to be about 120 but not sure if that's realistic for me as I'm quite muscular and curvy at 5'5".

I find they work for me. Certainly don't cause me to crave sweets and help me get my sweet fix once in awhile.

I think weight gain depends on the person. I found I actually lost weight when I started on the pill and have never had any weight issues from it.

Hi! My name's Grace and I'm up in Auckland. Currently finishing up my studies for Landscape Architecture and married to a wonderful husband. I'm pretty active and an avid horseback rider but these intense studies mean I'm not at the weight I'd like to be as more inactivity than normal. Currently at 58 kg and looking to get…

I'm on a different antidepressant but have found no effect on weight-loss or gain. I've started and stopped several over the years and never found my weight effected.

Maybe you need to rethink your goals at least for this stage of life until you can find the right balance and what works. Maybe start with just trying to fit in a quick walk during work breaks (if you have them), do a few squats/lunges while at work, make a goal to stop eating or drinking a couple higher calorie foods and…

I find hot tea with plenty of splenda helps me in the middle of the day, but I definitely want dessert! I try and make healthy options for dessert with an emphasis on fruits/low fat/reduced sugar and make sure I save some calories for it at the end of the day. That way I still satisfy the craving so that I don't binge on…

I made them with just applesauce for the oil and not impressed. The flavor was fine but they just weren't moist enough. The texture was way off. They tasted good though. After 2 days the texture was fine but for some reason out of the oven not quite right. I'd def use oil next time ;)

Sounds like water weight or similar to me. I wouldn't worry about it unless it lasts more than 2-3 days. There is a very good chance it will go right back down. I know I can gain up to 4lbs in one night if my body decides to store water :)

Only rarely. I do if I feel I have no grasp on how large a portion of a new food is (such as the first time of eating a new cereal), but other than that I just try and use small portions. For me, it becomes too obsessive if I weigh everything. I just find in takes over my life and stresses me out. I'm already stressed…

I have 2 different Wii EA Sports games and absolutely love them! Especially EA Sports Active More Workouts, hoping to buy the newest one as soon as i get the $. They provide a great workout and you can start out at lower intensities or get your a** kicked if you want. An hour of that and I'm sweating heavily. I really like…

I've lost nothing in my boobs! Lucky me :) If anything they appear bigger since the rest of me has shrunk. And no, they aren't silicone! Just an encouragement for those who fear losing their assets, it doesn't always happen. All depends on the way you lose the weight, muscling etc. Stronger muscles definitely help.

Definitely! I own 3 horses, only one of which is ride-able at the moment but I also do all the feeding/mucking/water etc too. I ride the one horse 5-6x a week and train a friends horse 5x a week plus riding other horses when I get the chance. It's great exercise and I get my heart rate really up when doing a good schooling…

I made similar with a gray pumpkin and they were tasty. Here's what I found made the outside a bit more crispy so it wasn't just baked squash.... I put the oven on fan bake at reasonably high temperature (around 200-210 Celsius) I also cooked them for quite awhile. Essentially I found that fan bake helped remove some of…

Yes, your net is supposed to be 1200. I was very confused about that at first as well! You'll just need to eat more! If your net amount is too low your body will start to think its starving and hold on to all the weight. You want to lose it not keep it and be eating very little! The idea is to try and get enough calories…

Sounds like me! So frustrating. I had been gradually losing weight in March without a problem, then I went on a week long trip to Eua Tonga for university studies. This involved a ton of physical exercise but we did eat a fair bit too to make up for the extreme physical nature of the trip. The way I was going I thought I'd…
