How exactly does one "find out" they are insulin resistant? I mean, scientifically speaking - that would require some elaborate blood testing - such as a glucose uptake panel, which takes six hours of getting blood draws. Who has ever really had that done here? And if you haven't, isn't your self-diagnosing merely a theory?

For me, the benefits of portion control and variety outweigh the sodium and preservatives in pre-packaged dinners like Smart Ones and Lean Cuisines. I have done well using them. Well, my opinion is that your menu looks great, but servings look smallish. But as for advice, that's where I was trying to help. Although not sure of your goals. :)

Looks ok, but posting your menu here does little good, sorry. Track your calories. Eat what you enjoy. Please use the MFP food log. Don't go drastically low on your calories. Let the MFP setup give you a figure and go from there. It's not too complicated. Enjoy the site and wishing you great success.

3-4 pork loin chops, thick cut chicken broth cabbage Pan fry pork chops until well browned and succulent. Drain fat. Add chicken broth and cabbage. Cook until cabbage is tender. Discard pork chops. Serve cabbage soup immediately.
