Unless you have a specific medical need, there's no reason you can't learn to moderately include carbs/treats in your life. This is the time to develop good habits! And good habits usually include a little treat now and then. As to increasing calorie counts without carbs... you know literally every other food on this earth…

I work a desk job and I get the same, if not more, steps. So... confusion.
-
Pay really careful attention to which foods make you feel full after you eat them. Pay attention to which ones that don't. Eat mostly the former, fewer of the latter.
-
What sort of job do you do?
-
You say you're super accurate - does that include using a food scale? Also, "eating clean" has nothing to do with weight loss - it is something you may choose to do for your health (whatever your definition of that is) but the only thing that matters for weight loss is a calorie deficit.
-
Are you looking for help or validation re: your question?
-
I'm sorry, what? To answer your original question, you probably can't get rid of extra "water weight" in one day. Act normally, realize that your weight is going to fluctuate, stop caring about what the scale says on just one day.
-
I didn't say anything about cravings. I said it doesn't "break down fat faster."

I didn't hear anything about being in a calorie deficit in there...
-
Yes, logically there would be a difference. Clothing, hydration, food in your digestive system, etc. That's why you should pick one scale, one time of day, and one set of circumstances and use that as your weight.
-
You should really speak with a doctor about this.
-
Point of distinction. OP, can you eat over your goal for special occasions and get right back to it? Or will it cause you to backslide?
-
Pick one of those. Only one. If it's quick, it's not healthy. If it's healthy, it's not quick.

Weight Watchers can definitely work for some people. I lost about 80 pounds on a previous program (but gained it back, obv. - not the fault of the plan, totally my fault!). I think for many "beginners" it's helpful, but in the end calorie-counting is much more accurate. I certainly wouldn't discount WW out of hand or call…

I'd consult your doctor on this one. Generally, it's good advice to begin by only eating back 50 percent of your exercise calories (as many trackers and indeed MFP itself can be inaccurate) and adjust as you go forward.

You do not have to use earned calories on protein only. A calorie is a calorie.

Welcome to the Internet. You must be new here. Plenty of things have been around for thousands of years - including female genital mutilation, UFOs, and the idea that the Earth is flat. Longevity/dissemination is NOT an indicator that something is correct.

Safe and healthy weight loss is generally no more than two pounds per week.
-
Has your doctor evaluated that statement?
-
How many calories are you eating per day?
-
Your digestive system cleanses itself. Please don't spread misinformation.

It makes perfect sense.

... perhaps not the scientifically correct answer, but I'd include coffee w/that breakfast. Caffeine FTW. (Sorry not sorry)

How do I put this... Say you're thinking it could take about a year to get your goal (using myself as an example). I'll (hopefully) still be here in a year. I could gain weight. I could stay the same. Or I could work hard and get to goal. Whichever I choose, I'm going to still exist in a year's time. Why not be a better…

Yes. What an absolute list of junk in the "other ingredients." To break it down: Microcrystalline cellulose (WOOD PULP), dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (CALCIUM), croscarmellose sodium (INTESTINAL DISINTEGRATOR), stearic acid (SATURATED FATTY ACID), magnesium stearate (FATTY ACID SALT), silica (ANTI-CAKING SUBSTANCE, OFTEN…

With what specifically? Logging, sticking to your calorie goal, working out?
-
Sure do! Everyone is motivated differently. :) I rarely buy myself anything "special" - so I made a list of things that I'd consider a bit of a splurge. My first reward was for an a-dorable designer lunchbox, the second for a pile of books I've been eyeing, etc. I just earned myself a facial, and my next reward is new…
