I just logged in and I'm so happy that this is the first post I saw! I just signed up for a pentathalon today and I'm the cycling leg. Any good web sites you know of that i can check out for training? Thanks! P.S. Last year I rode 1500 miles and it was my first year. You'll be able to do 2000 if you set your mind to it!

Salomon (the ski company) makes amazing running shoes that have zip cords so that you don't have to keep tieing them. And guess what?!? Their kids shoes look just like the adult ones! Actually I'm jealous because the kid's version comes in pink while the adults does not. :tongue:

WAKE UP EARLY AND WORKOUT BEFORE THE DAY STARTS! That way you'll have it out of the way and you won't feel too bad when it's time for pie:wink:

The class I go to is a bit of a modification on it. You definitely get your heart rate up and even use weights at certain points. I'm going to enter it manually at 250 calories based on websites I've checked out. Some say more- some say less. It's probably more important the time that I put in than the calories burnt…

It's okay. If someone could even give the approximate calorie burn, I suppose I could enter it manually? I got to pilates class for an hour twice a week and it's the most difficult thing ever ! I would like to log this!

I don't know what kind of climate they live in, but I think it's nice to give kids toys that get them outside to play. Sleds can be inexpensive...or maybe some sort of outdoor game? It seems like I never see kids outside playing anymore!

On the food tab, I see how you can click on the glass to make sure you get 8 glasses per day. What is a "glass." I'm averaging just over one liter a day. Should I be drinking more? Less? I don't know!
