Well done, great journey so far.

An easy pace 5k run this morning. I took an extra rest day yesterday as I had some foot pain after running at the weekend. The extra day has made a big difference and I would say I am back to 100%. Will pick the distance back up tomorrow.

Are you thinking about macros or just calorie goal? I’m asking because you do not seem to be looking for help or advice. Good luck on this…

Saturday I completed an 8 mile run and Sunday an easy pace 6 mile run. Legs are feeling really good after a 32 mile week, I am still about 30lbs overweight but running is much easier now that when I started at 280lbs.

My Garmin watch is telling me I have improved my VO2 Max, I am now in the Good category, I started in very poor a few months ago and have climbed 10 points. Although only a small thing, and not super accurate, I am very happy.

I would argue that tenacity, diligence and perseverance are individual character traits, learned though nature and nurture. Liking them to a mindset is more accurate, calling them an attitude is off the mark I think. Like all mindsets they are subject to change due to hormones, chemicals, mental health, stress, alcohol,…

I want to thank you for starting up such an interesting debate. I cannot disagree with your many years experience and first hand experience of people with physical struggles that you have helped change their lives for better. I would like to comment though as this is an interesting discussion. Attitude is not a single…

I'm starting to feel the muscles in my sides activate a little as I run. I'm also more aware of them as I do yoga. A new sensation for me.
