This week I ran 40 miles in total, this was a goal I set myself on the 1st March when I could barley run 1 mile. I am tired but very happy.

This might be a slightly unusual NSV but after losing 70lbs I noticed a little bit of loose skin on my lower abs today. It is just a tiny loose band, but it is the 1st time in my life I have seen anything like this. I am not unhappy, I am actually quite pleased to see these changes in my body. I have about 15 lbs left to…

Pickled onions. I love them.

When I was near 300lbs I was sad, depressed and probably not myself due to my general unhappiness. I’ve come a long way and feel much better, when I lose sight of why I’m doing this I think back to the start of the year when I was much heavier. Stay positive if you can, the journey is hard at times but as others say,…

I too am in my 40’s (late 40’s) and I lose weight pretty much in line with my calorie deficit.

Laying on my bed waiting for 9 kids (my kids plus nieces & nephews) to finish watching a Disney+ movie so everyone can go to bed. Hopefully everyone will be tired and go to sleep quickly. 😀

Welcome back and good luck on your journey.

Hi and welcome back. Best of luck on the journey, you are already doing great. Just keep it going 😀

Hi and welcome. Sadly, you are setting yourself up for failure eating so little calories. Why not use MFP to set a sensible goal and follow that? I want to lose weight and keep it off for many, many years. This means I need to change how I think about food and eating. It does not happen overnight, try and set yourself up…

Lovely day mountain biking with my 16 year old son. I hope when he is my age he looks back and realises how much I love him.
