I am the same, I've got MFP set to lose 2lbs a week and I am set as sedentary and do not eat back any calories that my Garmin watch sends over to MFP. I'm losing at a little faster than 2lbs a week but I'm only 30 days in to this life change and still have over 65lbs to lose. The loss will slow down at some point and I…

People can often help if you open your diary for viewing.

I picked up a set of Bodylastics 12 pcs Snap Guard Resistance Bands Set with 5 Stackable anti-snap exercise tubes from Amazon and they are brilliant for working out in a tight space. Great to get you started.

Start with walking and get to grips with logging your food on MFP. Small steps :-)
-
The worry and stress you are causing yourself for eating those extra calories will be worse that the calories you consume. Just log it and keep going the next day. It's a long journey, don't beat yourself up.

Carbs (sugars) are the main building block in energy production. You want to keep your body as efficient as possible at energy production so don't buy in to carbs being the enemy. The processes going on inside us all are complex and the energy creation process, creating ATP, carbon dioxide, water, heat, is all critical in…

75lbs or so remaining. Feel free to add me, the more friends the better.

You are best to start with the sticky posts at the top of the General Diet & Weight Loss section. Good luck.

Amazing work, are you taking friend requests? Edit: Friend request sent.

I'm 43 and have suffered with acne all my life and I find that taking Holy Basil Leaf, Ashwagandha and Astaxanthin has helped my skin a great deal. I also put one tablespoon of coconut oil in a herbal tea each day and drink that. @GiddyupTim is right, a visit to a dermatologist would be good if you have not already been.…

Go and look at all those XXL size clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer need to wear and think to yourself, if I keep going the way I am going which pair of XXL pants will I wear on Christmas Day when I am eating all that good food and feeling horrible inside because I could have stopped this happening when I posted…

Daily via my Garmin WiFi scale. I also track in Happy Scale :-)

Thanks @pdmccone. You have done amazing over the last 12 months. Thanks for the info, it definitely helps.

Can you outline what a day or week calorie and food wise looked like for you between June 6th 2016 and Sept 9th 2016. I started at 278lbs on June 1st and my target is about 190lbs. I'm 6'1".

Hi, how about beef jerky, tins of mackerel in tomato sauce, tins of tuna, bananas, apples. There must be loads more, but my mind has gone blank.
-
I can tell you one thing, you have come here to post rather than giving up quietly and retreating back to old ways. There is a reason for that, and that is because you are going to lose those last 20lbs :-)

Have you tried taking psyllium husk with each meal. I mix 5g to 10g with water and drink it. It works wonders.

Walking is great, don't feel you have to run yet, that can come with time.

Find a local running club and / or a structured 10K training plan to help you build a solid base. You need to bring in speed training sessions, with 400m sprints You are a long way away from 6 minute miles, your first goal needs to be 400m in under 90 seconds. Have a very gentle warm up at a track and then go for the 400m…

I had 2 x rump steak burgers, 2 x seeded buns, 2 x slices of cheese and 20g of BBQ sauce for dinner. I was looking forward to them all day and they fitted in to my daily calorie count. You need to eat what is right for you. They were as good as I thought they would be and my food diary is closed for today at a healthy 200…

MFP has enabled me to have a very healthy relationship with food these last few weeks. I think what the site offers is brilliant!

I don't let my Vivofit change my MFP calories. I do add running data from my Garmin watch to MFP. Just use your Fitbit or Vivofit to encourage you to hit a daily steps target.
-
Hi, the Fitbit Flex and Garmin Vivofit are both activity trackers that estimate your calorie burning and activity efforts. There has to be a bit of guess work in the calculations, as with anything that estiames how much calories you burn. There are other models on the market but the two I mentioned are both decent. I've…

Herbal tea is brilliant. Antioxidants and other benefits. I drink loads of peppermint and loads of canomile, both naturally caffeine free.

A lot of supportive people hear wanting to help so take it slow and don't be hard on yourself. Wishing you luck.
I think my bosses would frown on me doing Zumba or lifting weights at my desk. I can, however, surf the net. LOL
Great answer. I'm not sure I would get away with having my running machine in the office.

Hi, new here as well. Are you guys happy with a male friend as I need all the support I can get :-)
