Licence in the context of Poetic Licence should have a C not an S as you used because it's NOT a verb in that context. Just saying!!!

aw righ' may' - You're only half plastic then!

ps, or, if the won't drop it, you could turn the spotlight back on them. Ask them what their BMI is, ask them what their waist measurement is, what their jean size is.....

Don't JUSTIFY your desire to be slim and healthy. They've always been slim and healthy these colleagues of yours? So they've never had to justify it to anybody. Why should you have to justify it? So just shrug and say in a bored voice 'you're so skinny too' and then change the subject.

Do it now while we're in a recession please! Hotels are desperate to, you can name your price within reason, well you can certainly negotiate. my parents have a new little hobby, travelling around ireland staying in five star hotels for half nothing. . :-)

an seo! feel free to add me, i've a mixture of nationalities on my list now. very cosmo i am!

I've just gone in an raised mine to 1300. i think 1200 is too low. that's my 2 cents! i don't want to send my body into famine mode.
-
ps @ tringle, I thought the same. another couple giving lone parents a bad name. The exact same thing must have occurred to everybody. It even said he did all the cooking! but lives down the road??? yeah right. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a review. And I wouldn't have much sympathy. genuine lone parents are…

Tringle, I only have a dongle here so I can't watch anything on player unfortunately. a pain alright!! when I lived with my parents i merrily used their internet connection, watched their skyetc... used their hot water, drank their wine.....!! times are tuffer now chuck!

Mine tells me I'll be 118lbs in five weeks. I know I want be. I'll be lucky to lose two pounds in the next 5 weeks. I want to adjust my goal. Not sure how.

I only get the irish channels tringle. I'm too mean and too technologically (*&^%$£ dumb to get the UK channels. My brother and my cousin have told me what I need to do to get the uk channels about forty times and my head just glazes over. why is it not simple any more!? i sound like my mum now but in my day you just got…

Still, it gives them another two weeks to really go for it with the weight loss.

Oh right, I'm only presuming it's on. Cos it usually is. I've just checked the paper and IT'S NOT ON. some wretched football match is on instead. :-( :-( The UEFA champions league. Oh I am so upset!!

I've a feeling he's the one who has just received a bigger burst of confidence. i think it will make him make some bad decisions, partly cos he's young, and younger than her (5 or 6 years?). Even though I think she's a nicer person, her weight loss has seemed slower than his. Call me psychic, but I can see him finishing it…
-
Oh no, ignore me, I've just remembered that there was briefly another Irish guy called Damo. Glad to hear he's kept going with the weight loss on his own.
-
No way? he's from Limerick isn't he? is still on track then? Is he like a minor league sleb in your gym?? ;-) I really hope he keeps going with the weight loss. I thought he was a bit of a whinger. He always looks like he's just been given really bad news. But maybe that's just his face! Can't blame him for that. He did…

My advice is take your measurements before you start jillian michaels. That is where I saw the changes. Not on the scales. She is tough. I love her!!!
-
ps, also, no idea if it's bad etiquette to mention this on a mixed board, but fekk it, excuse me here, the week before your period you are going to weigh more, EVEN if you have just put in 3 weeks of healthy eating. I foolishly timed my first 'weigh-in' to co-incide with that time of the month and became really…

I know the scales has a psychological effect and I'm not immune to its power myself, but don't get obsessed with it. Have you measured yourself? Do you know that you haven't lost inches?? I've been on this health kick (?) for a while now and like yourself, don't really have a massive amount to lose (in my opinion). So,…

do you mean you struggle to eat ONLY one?!!?!? i'm confused! I probably won't have one. I like them with banana and chocolate spread though! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (four or five lines of mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I've gained two pounds doing it as well. i feel slimmer though. I am measuring better, i look better, but yeah i'm heavier. ps, edited to add, I started it 60 days ago and since i finished it i've been doing it at least two nights out of three. 3 out of 4 more like actually, and i do two levels at a time for a longer…

wow that's expensive. it's not available from amazon.co.uk, and I was disappointed, but at that price, i'll just keep going with her other ones. 30ds was 7 euro or something. how can this latest one be so expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????
-
yeah, technology not required surely?

I have less to lose but i'm not losing anything either............................................. I'm 5'1" too. I know people will think that i'm not remembering everything i eat or that i don't understand healthy eating or that i don't know how many calories foods have. If anything, I'm a little MORE INFORMED about this…

That's interesting that the band of what is considered normal is different in America. In my neck of the woods, 18.5 is definitely underweight and I'm not "wrong". I'm 'foreign'. ;-)

I agree with you, it's tough on the knees. In level two when she's doing pendulum lunges I substitute in some extra abs work, like the abs work from level one. And in level three i don't do the plio metrics (sp) because i know that would just finish off my knees. I do extra oblique twists and other stuff just while she's…

I have to eat some of them back yeah. Most nights even though I really tried to stay under 1200, i am at about 1300. But I usually try to have at least a 100 cal deficit.
-
I don't know, courgette and aubergine as I call them, but they only taste nice when they're cooked with a lot of oil......... I wouldn't use them when I'm watching weight. I DO love them though. I'd eat them out in a restaurant with a sod it attitude, but I wouldn't know what to do withthem at home.

Have any of you done / planning to do the Great North Run in Newcastle?. I've always thought I'd love to do that one. have done 10k a few times and I KNOW 13 MILES would be a big push on top of that (for me).
