I eat at about 50% fat, 30% carbs, 20% protein. This seems to work well for me.

Hmmm, I've got one of the slowest rates of loss I've seen here. I had my baby at the end of February; she's nine months old now. I'm down 22.8 lbs since I first weighed when we got home from the hospital. That's 0.08 lbs per day. But I'm back to my prepregnancy body without hurting my milk supply

Wow, amazing work!

I just stopped in to empathize. My husband has been battling depression lately, and it's very difficult on me as well as him. I can't help but think we are "wasting" our little girl's first year because he can't enjoy it right now.

I panic if there is less than 4 lbs of butter in my house at any given time. It's one of my most used foods, near the top under the "frequent" part.

We do a Friendsgiving every year (for the past 6 years). My strategy is generally to not eat moderately. This has had no effect on my long term weight or body comp.

I thought this was going to be about dumpster diving.

This is so awesome. I want to copy and paste this to an email to send to my mother. I wish she would start doing some strength training.

Aw, thank you! I couldn't believe how tolerant she was of letting me put that thing on her head, lol.

I ate in early labor, breakfast and lunch, and then she came before dinner time, 5:23 p.m. I didn't get to the hospital until about 3:30, but I never puked from it.

Ice cream helps me hit my calcium goal some days, which is very important since I'm breastfeeding.

If my 7 month old had been a boy, the middle name would have been Leland (it's Leeloo instead), but after Leland, MI actually, where my husband proposed.

One of my favorite photos that I've taken myself (that didn't have my dog, husband, or child in it):

Dogs that run straight at another dog are not "well socialized". A direct approach is very rude in dog language (an arced approach without direct eye contact is a polite dog approach). We don't all have labs. Also we're talking about one little dog being approached in a rude manner by three larger dogs. I don't think her…

Also, and I'll admit it's been a long time since I've gone, but soooo much food is thrown out if you live in the U.S. Aldi's is a great place to get free produce, from the dumpster after they close. Stores throw out stuff when it's just past the expiration and it's still pretty safe to use. Cans get thrown out when they…

29 y.o. 5' 4.75" I have a beautiful 7 month old daughter. 3 days before I delivered her I weighed 146 lbs, and that was after putting on a good amount of weight with the pregnancy. I spent about 1.5 years before trying to conceive lifting weights, eating at a surplus, and putting on weight so I wouldn't start my pregnancy…
