I am also a migraine sufferer.....I tend to get migraines when the barometric pressure is high, lack of sleep and stress, hormones, or any combination of those. However, sometimes they come on without notice or any triggers that I can identify. I use peppermint oil on my temples, switch between Tylenol and ibuprofen until…

I am not currently but have in the past following Dr. Gott's "No sugar, no flour" plan. It was pretty simple and lost lots of weight, can't seem to get back on it though! The book was very informative and had lots of recipes to try as well.

Hi! I live in America and get my T3, T4, TSH and thyroglobulin tested. I had my thyroid removed in December (27th) I initially gained 30 lbs before I got it under control. I started really watching what I eat and counting the calories. I do not exercise regularly because I am extremely fatigued most of the time. I just get…

I am very hypo right now, TSH is in the upper 90's (supposed to be .4 to 4). I am losing weight just is harder and I have to be more focused. My thyroid was removed in Dec 2012 and initially I gained 30 lbs right away......working on getting it off now. No thyroid or hypo is not an excuse for me to gain out of control.…

Are you having any other symptoms for hypothyroidism? Such as constipation, heat and cold sensitivity, tired all the time, swollen fingers, feet, face, moody and so forth? If so go to the Dr and have them check out your thyroid.

You can add me as well, not sure how many attempts this is really, but the first time I have added friends on MFP and seems to really help. I would love to be your cheerleader, I have about 75 lbs to lose!

I agree with this!! Been there done that, so worried about taking care of everyone else and I fall to the way side. No longer though! I had a cancer scare in November 2012 and realized I have to take control of my health. Quit smoking, eating healthier, exercising.....b/c I want to be there for my kids and my grandkids…

My family and I tend to eat alot of eggs, maybe because we have chickens and they are almost free. During this winter the hens were not laying much and hated to buy store eggs..they just don't taste the same! Enjoy your eggs and buy farm fresh when you can!
