That's a location specific question. What may be in my area, may not be in yours. Find a price you'd like to spend and if it hits it - strike. If not - wait.

May get a better deal just after New Years... They push them for the "resolution" folks.

My life has always been surrounded by music and many musician family members. Having spent 40 years studying drums (mostly jazz), orchestral percussion and piano - I'm now studying classical clarinet. No preferred era in any of this - like it all. After my wife and child, music is my passion.

I stopped about 4 months ago. I learned through the loss process about what I should and should not be consuming - especially portion controls. So far, so good.

I've been shopping indoor bikes lately and have been comparing this to the Spinner NXT and Blade. Not sure which way I'd go in laying out the cash, but if anyone knows of any advantages of the Peloton over the NXT or Blade, I'd like to hear it. My exercise space already has a TV & Blu Ray and I'm not sure I'd be willing to…

I think eating right may be the most difficult for all of us.

it's hard to go just by brand. Shoes within any one brand are made to fit differently for a reason. Need to find the right shoe for you within any one brand. All personal preference. Only trial and error. I'm fortunate to have a local running specialty store who works with me to get fitted. For me, the only ones work best…

I have a treadmill, rowing machine and intend on adding a bike. I also have a few pairs of running shoes for outdoors. I like them all for different reasons. It's only going to be used if it's enjoyed. What did you enjoy doing at the gym? Try to bring that home.

+2 on the C2. Nothing else like it.

Sorry... I've got nothing.....

Coming from someone who was beginning to have blood pressure issues and is much more aware of sodium as a result, I don't eat this type of thing any longer. Shopping for food can sometimes be a challenge when trying to reduce sodium. Mostly leads to making my own stuff where I can control salt intake. Canned / box / jar…

If done properly, rowing is an amazing total body workout. You need to develop good form or you may not do it for long without getting hurt (not too unlike many other exercises). At the very least, good form will help you make the most of your rowing session. As for shredding fat? As already stated, it begins with what you…

I'm in! If desired, send me a request on C2 to become Training Partners so we can share logs.

I lost 48 lbs. I didn't give up anything but reduced it all to stay within calorie deficit to lose. By reducing, it meant I didn't consume what I normally would of in a day. But spread it out over a few days. Example - a chocolate bar was eaten in thirds instead of all at once. Same with much of the other higher-cal stuff.…

Not much to add but to say keep at it and you'll eventually find your personal groove. I also run and row for cardio. Both uniquely different and uniquely satisfying.

Thank you.

Hope you are still enjoying the C2! I purchased one last year and haven't looked back.

Rowing is/was a game changer for me. I've logged over 1,250,000 meters since I purchased on last October. Not as much as some, but perhaps more than others. A great workout that in my opinion goes unnoticed by many.

I've been hearing stuff like this from certain family members since Christmas. As in, each time I see them. Now I make fun of the change in a sarcastic way with them. Especially those that put forth a deeper level of negativity on me. Works, just for that day.
