A year ago I weighted over 130kgs plus (286lbs). Since then I have lost over 30 kgs (66lbs). I am fitter then I have ever been, due to indoor rowing! Going into my first competition in London next month in an outfit I would not have been seen dead in 18 months ago! I was always in baggy t-shirts and shorts and now I am…

In the old days, I could see my dome (stomach) above my rib cage! It is now gone! Finding clothes I bought and said I will get in that one day! And finding they are now too big! Left them in the cupboard too long! I still have 27 kilos to go! Having just lost 33! :-)

Hi, I am 57 and after being fat most of my adult life and yo-yo dieting I realised I had got too big again (this was last Sept 2014) I had a photo taken of myself (with a very slim celebrity) and it was an "Oh f%%k, what have I done" kind of moment! So, I vowed to sort myself out again and for good this time! I was…

I love my rower, bought it 2 months ago, clocking up the meters already. I set my damper at 5 and am happy there. I started indoor rowing at 56 and found it great as low impact. I am now training for a competition in London in December. Save up for the C2, it is worth it. Hope this helps?

Just to be different! I am from SE London, but now live in Spain.

WOW, well done you. :)

I am 57 and have lost 25 kgs with the help of interval training on an indoor rower. Get a good heart rate monitor and know your HR rates for your age. You will get to know your limits and the best ranges for you. I read lots of info on here and the Concept 2 rowing forum has been a huge help for me. I have my chart on the…

Brilliant, well done. I have lost 25 kgs and it has taken me 10 months now, I have another 35 to go. I have up's and down's (eg 5 weeks to USA, put on 7kgs!) but got the weight off and more now. I believe that a slow weight loss is the best now. Change of lifestyle. I have an indoor rower at home, great for me and low…

To lilmissmanx; The only complaint I have is the seat could use a bit of padding! Look for pads on this link-http://godfrey.co.uk/product/stock-ergo-grip I bought one and it does help!

I bought a rower last month and now do at least 30 mins a day, 5/6 times a week. Some days, when I am off I either do an hour or 10,000 meters. It has been a big help as lost 25 kgs now since last September. Started at the gym using the rower and then had to get my own for home. No more excuses not to go to the gym, just…

Brilliant. I know how you feel with binging now and again, it has to be done and then get over it. Tomorrow is a new day. :-)
