If you only need to lose 11 lbs, i'd say change it to half a pound a week. That's what I'm at. It's a slow process, but it seems to be working.

I eat the same subway sandwich for lunch 4 days a week. Haven't had any problems. My diet doesn't vary much either.

I doubt that was his real feelings. I do know it's hard to listen to someone complain about themselves. As a guy, I want to fix the complaints. But, it seems that's not what women always want. It's very frustrating.

Looking at the scale is a bad choice. Do you really care about your weight? Or is looking better your real goal?

I tend to average about 400 a day probably. Some days I do about 1000. Some days I take off. Others are in between.

I try to get in the gym and lift weights for no less than 30 minutes 3 days a week. I also try to either run/walk outside, use the elliptical, or run on the treamill for at least 3 miles every day. Just because it's not a solid, doesn't mean it doesn't add to your body mass. You really ought to count them.
