Don't give up. Even after a slip, even in the midst of a long plateau, even when you feel defeated. Just keep going.

Great challenge!!!! For Lent I have given up any "junk", which for me means take out, bakery treats, chips, candy and most processed foods. The change maker for me has been packing all the food I need for work the next day every evening. I have cheese and a fruit for breakfast, a big salad with protein for lunch and a…

Sorry guys it was a rough weekend. Sunday I had a funeral and when I got home my dog was in full seizure and had to be rushed to the doggie emergency room. I think I only had about three glasses of water yesterday. But this morning my doggie is back at home and good as new, I am just finishing my morning coffee and then I…

I think this is a first time putting my weight out there too! I find it painful. I am a tall girl so even if I was in the healthy range, it would still be too big a number to throw out there. And by the way, after I told my son about the water challenge he found a running water sound effect that he plays randomly to mess…

I was so excited to open up this post and see what the first week challenge but then I read it and went UHHHHhhh h h h.... Drinking enough water has always been a big challenge for me. I like mineral water and drink 1 - 2 500 ml bottles a day, but I don't usually drank enough still water (big coffee and tea drinker so I…

Good morning! After gaining back all of the weight I lost two years ago and adding another 7 pounds to that I decided to make lent my turning point. For Lent I promised myself that I would eat healthy and within my calorie goal, and exercise EVERYDAY. I have joined a 5 K running clinic and walk on my rest days. So far I am…

Your school should have a student code of conduct. What those girls are doing is cyber bullying. Most school, colleges or universities would have a policy against that. You should contact your office of student affairs to talk to some one about your options for reporting these monsters.

Thanks for the tips!

There is a small lake with a hilly hiking trail near my office - I usually walk that 2 - 3 times a week when it is clear of snow. I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day - even in our minus 27 degree (c) wind chill.

That is exactly how I think I look! :-)

ANd was the gym nurse trying to sell you something to help? If so, see a doctor and get the full story.

Some suggestions... Do you drink a lot of coffee/cafeine besides the water? If so cut back and see if you have to go less often. Are you thirsty all the time? if so consider your blood sugars tested just to be safe. If any of your freinds owns a glucometer for type 1 or two diabetes, they can do a test and let you know if…

Why not hit the swimming pool? If you don't swim you could try water running - basically you wear a band around your waist that keeps you vertical and you run in place in the water. People who have running injuries often train in the pool until they heal - and often come out of the pool a better runner than when they went…

Cholcolate! I usually eat a handful or two of chocolate chips in the evening. If I can give it up for 40 days then perhaps I will kick the habit (and master the cravings).

Your post made me laugh. God bless those young ones. They too will be "old" someday.

I know you worked hard to lose the pounds, but you also look like you lost 15 years as well. You look so much younger. congrats and well done!

Here is a challenge for today. Let everyone know what this groupe has meant to you. I am not some one that checks out the board each day and responds to all of the challenges (an for that I apologise), but weighing in each week with you gouys has kept me motivated and focused. Since this challenge has started I have lost…

You have come to the right place. I have been in weight watchers a couple of times over the past five years, spent too much money and never did reach my goal. MFP is simple and if you have a smart phone, it is always with you. I have followed the guidelines here and have lost close to 22 of the 35 pounds I wanted to take…
