  • I love this! I have never seen this and it would be a nice way to represent my kids :) I hope you dont mind me stealing this idea :) I think I would get it on the ankle. Im saving my shoulder for my goal tattoo.. and I think changing the dots to birthstome colors is a great idea.
  • I love this post! I have always had a "healthy" (or maybe unhealthy sex drive-= hence having 5 kids) husband and I have both lost some weight and I can definately see a nice increase for the both of us and its nice to not get winded! I do feel more confident and its nice after 5 kids and 12 years together we are still hot…
  • Ive been hearing this. Hopefully we will get some kale from our CSA and I will try it. I buy Kale all the time but usually its for the lizard! Doh!
  • We drink 2% as a compromise but I just switched to putting almond milk in my cereal and smoothies. I think it has a great taste and less calories. If I drink milk though I like the 2%. I actually prefer raw milk to pasteurized milk, but with 5 kids its a little spendy to drink all the time.
  • Thank you for posting this, its just what I wanted to read. I have lost 16 lbs and don't really notice much of a difference. I have not taken measurements and feel like I should have. This week my weight was up and even though I KNOW what caused it (being a female) I am still totally bummed that I could not report a loss.…
  • I was up... but I know why.. it seems like TOM likes Mondays.. humph
  • I prefer running outside but I can only do it the days i can get up early while my husband is home ( I have 5 kids) so I do alternate between the elliptical and the treadmill at the gym (childcare) To the OP I like both, i feel each one gives me a different workout so I just alternate them or do both in the same workout. I…
  • This is on my bucket list also but I probably wont ever do it since Ive moved to the pacific northwest now. So maybe I will do the John Muir trail someday. I love the AT Good luck to you if you do it!
  • This is so motivating! you are about the same weight I was when I started and to think I can be that small is so encouraging! Ive only lost 16 but its a start and girl you look amazing!
  • I can definately see a difference.. way to go.. and I love your Tats!! beautiful artwork.
  • Wow! Excellent, this is so inspiring!
  • way to go ladies! I havent weighed yet, I will in the morning as we just got home from vaca but yes this group keeps me accountable. I was going to wait til next Monday to weigh becuase Im worried about a gain, but gonna suck it up and do it. As for new goals.. back on track after a long holiday weekend, where I didn't do…
  • I agree with this. I have 5 kids and I am usually in charge of meals. I will usually do what she said and substitue some healthier options and what I make is what there is. No short order cooking here. If they want something that isnt very healthy perse, I will just watch my portions, or cut back on the butter, add some…
  • Wow! that is insane! Im glad I never dine out anymore..
  • Thanks, I needed this kind of inspiration today. You are a beautiful person.
  • Drats, I forgot to check in, it was a tough day for me.. I was up to 224.6 due to TOM.. hoping for a great loss next week, cant weigh til Wednseday though since Ill be out of town.
  • I got the Polar T4 last week and it was on sale at target for $79. I have heard good things about the New Balance ones there too but I am very happy with my Polar so far.
  • Same here with salt.. I love chips and crackers.. I have been doing a lot better though, i dont deny, I just have one serving.
  • Im right there with ya.. I dont know what size I was.. at least a DDD or an F.. and now I put on my old DD's and they fit like a glove. I had 5 kids so needless to say I need support to keep these babies up but losing weight there isnt helping.. I hope as time goes on I can be a nice D or maybe a C.. .. My hubs is a boobie…
  • wowzers ladies! I had a good loss this week. I feel stronger and healthier every single day. I love this group, I really want to make sure I have losses and not gains.
  • Love this! People tell me all the time they think its expensive to eat healthy food, when really it is cheaper! Because you are eating LESS food. WHen you are eating only junk and processed food, not only are you eating worse, but end up eating more!
  • Ive lost 10 lbs and I swear I think most of it has been in my boobage area. I didnt do measurements but after 5 kids and nursing them all and I was like a 38DDD.. they are deflating a bit.. It is definately noticable there.
  • I put a bottle of water in the freezer and will keep it iced. I am sure it stems from being overweight, and I have worked on my feet on concrete floors for 17 years and not always had the best of shoes. through time I have lost a lot of arch in my foot and it just seems to hurt, I just noticed it flaring up more since I…
  • Yes I had it before I started jogging but it would only flare up a little and then go away. It seems this time it just hurts most of the time. I will look into that sock and try icing it. Im glad to know some people have had it not return.
  • I think this is the best group!! Thanks Rach for organizing it all..
  • Ive officially lost my first 10 lbs! I am soooo excited! I never thought it would be so hard, but it feels great and I think it is going to be gone for good this time :) Hope everyone has a great week! Goals All my water!!! exercise at least 5 times this week
  • Keep up the good work ladies! Im hoping I have a loss this week, I have been stalled for a week and a half and its my cycle now so I am hoping...that its over and gone along with some weight. its too early for a plateau! plus ive been RUNNING!!
  • Thanks Tom for introducing me to this site! You have changed my life and my families life. My husband and I have each lost 8.6 lbs in the last month and feel better than ever and its all thanks to you. You are an inspiration.
  • This is the exact thing I was going to say. My daughter had lots of issues when she was younger and she would have to take miralax every day and it really helped. It is not a stimulatory laxative and not addictive. It is sold over the counter and you just mix it in water or juice or whatever.
  • I jogged a solid 5 min on the treadmill and I didnt feel like I would die. 2 weeks ago I could only jog for a minute. there might be a runner hiding in here somewhere.
