If it works for you that's great. I found WW to be all about restricting carbs and fats which made it hard to have a source of energy. I was on the green plan though where you have to point everything. If you're on one of the others it seems possible to have more calories, but if you don't track it calorie wise and you're…

I tried WW alongside calorie counting for a bit as I was able to get free membership through an NHS initiative. What I noticed was that WW was a lot more restrictive than calorie counting, and if you were going to eat in a way where you were going to keep within points and not under-eat, it was going to also be quite time…

Enjoying this thread. Really interesting to hear about how people cope with cravings. I was wondering what everyone counts as a glass of wine though. Would it be 125ml, 175ml or 250ml?

I agree with @Ddsb11 Please talk to a professional if you can, you will feel better. If you can't do that soon then perhaps contact a friend or relative in real life that you trust.

5 litres of liquid is excessive and can lead to depletion of important minerals like potassium sodium, calcium and magnesium leading to electrolyte imbalances.

Hi  I'm in the West Midlands. Haven't seen many Brits on here yet. Back on MFC after using it on and off for years. Hoping to be a bit more successful this time!

Are you a US size 12 or a UK or AUS 12?
-
Just to clear it up for everyone, a US size 12 is a UK size 16 (and in Australia) So a UK size 12, is an American size 8 :)
-
Are we talking a English or US size 12, I'm confused. In an English size 12 I look pretty good, that's a good size for me (I'm 5'8) As a US size 12 I am at least 14 pounds overweight so that wouldn't be healthy for me. I guess it depends on the individual, and muscle composition, but if we were basing it purely on BMI and…

I don't have the heat on much, it's too expensive. Sometimes I will put it on 15 degrees (59F) for a few hours in the evening. It's about 44 F outside at the moment, not too bad.

I have stretch marks on my stomach, and I havn't had any kids. I put on over a stone in a few months because I was stressed and depressed. I have lots on my legs too. I am self conscious about them, but if I lost body fat and still had them, I would rock a bikini because life is too short :) I am glad my bf never comments…

Maybe the OP just means have a filling/ healthy meal a hour or 2 before working out if possible. Surely that is sensible information?

I could get why you were curious about this if you were super hot, and extremely shallow I suppose, but you are only the latter.

My wrist is 6 inches and I'm 5'8/5'8.5. What does this mean?

Hold up...... men turn women down for sex??!

I would be careful. I did the 30DS a year ago for about 10 days and I got a knee injury that lasted a few months. My doctor said for people with short ligaments or tight leg muscles they should go for a walk before even starting the warm up of exercise dvds like that to avoid injury.

I got kicked out of my student union for 2 weeks for shouting some very rude (and untrue) things at Timmy Mallett.

"Would you like to take a young man's virginity?" was a line once used on me, needless to say, it didn't work!

I was 13 and at a school disco. He asked if he could kiss me and I said yes, it wasn't great, he bit my lip a little and "Dilemma" by Nelly and Kelly was playing. urgh. He went to a different school but he managed to get his number to me by giving it to a friend of his who was in my science class at school.

I just tried level 2 of the 30 day shred after not having done any of the levels for a while, and I am just getting back into exercise. I feel shaky and dizzy now. Is this normal for any of you or am I just really unfit?

The lady was rude to you and perhaps a little crazy, but for you to say that being a vegetarian would make you weak is also an unfair comment. I have been a pescatarian my whole life and I am not puny. I have a friend that always use to tease me and say that eating this way would make me weak etc, turned out despite her…

I was 15, he was in the year above at the boys school and we had mutual friends. I had seen him around. One day I was in a group chat on msn with friends and he was added to the conversation. I added him as a friend and we preceded to talk almost every day for 8 months. During this time, I went out with someone, he went…

I understand that we need to be hydrated and drinking water has multiple benefits besides being essential for life. But all you guys who drink excessive amounts say 5-9 litres a day. You do realise you aren't getting any benefits from this right? Research has shown we really don't need that much water for health. :noway:

I'm currently a 34/36 F, I wouldn't mind going back to a 32DD like I was when I was slimmer, not sure the bf is keen though!

At 189 I was a UK size 16 in trousers, but only in wider cuts ( i refused to go up a size). Now I am 176 and can fit into a UK size 16 skinny jeans ( haven't bought any new trousers yet because I'm broke). In tops I'm a UK size 14-16 depending on the shape and a large or medium. I'm 5'8.

This DVD lead to me getting a knee injury that meant I couldn't do exercise for a while and even now my knee sometimes aches so I personally wouldn't recommend it. Of course it's entirely up to you :) I think repetitive moves whilst standing stationary can lead to injuries for some, and my doctor recommended that people…
