One Splenda and a few tablespoons of Land O Lakes Low Fat Half & Half. Coffee is my one thing - I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do bad things. But I need my coffee. This way it still tastes sweet and light but without all the damage.

I'm trying to see if my local Books-A-Million has it....it's on their website, but I'd love to go pick it up at the store tomorrow... It looks like the kind of lifting I like....hopefully I'll get my hands on a copy soon! Thanks again!

Reading reviews now....it looks like a GREAT book to pick up...thanks so much!!

I will be doing Zumba 2-3 days/week, but I think I need a new exercise routine, rather than my old one. Any other thoughts?

I could never do a juice fast so I know NOTHING about them, but I do know that Skinnytaste has a recipe for a Green Monster Smoothie and I've never had anything bad from her blog... http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/01/skinny-green-monster-smoothie.html

I actually do both....I have found that WW meetings really help me stay on track, and I like the camaraderie and support. I do find that when I stick to my points, I lose quite quickly. So, as a program, it works well for me. However, I don't think that it's necessarily good for long-term, just because the whole points…

This is quite interesting....this says I should be eating 2000 calories/day. MFP has me at 1460. That's a HUGE discrepancy!! I'm curious as to why MFP has such a lower number? I'm losing quite nicely on the MFP amount, although I usually go over by 100-200 calories/day, so maybe that's why.

Oh bummer. I'll take a look around here for something similar. Thanks!

Where do you buy that?

I like this idea a lot - do you have the ratios of lemon juice and yogurt? And would you cook them first and then just pour the sauce over? Or mix it all together and bake?
-
bump - sounds great, thanks!

Because even going over by 300 calories you're still in a deficit, just not as much a deficit as you had set in your goals. So you'll still lose, just not as quickly or as much as you would have if you hadn't eaten those 300 calories. There really is no way to accurately guess how many calories you burn because there are…

My husband and mother-in-law have said they can tell I've lost and I've only lost 5 pounds (weighing in tomorrow hopefully a few more!). But other people haven't said anything yet. I think around 10 pounds or so, people notice, but nobody wants to say anything, LOL.

Not that I recommend doing it this way, but I used to do this by accident in college when I was anorexic. I ate very little all week and exercised like crazy, then went to visit a friend every weekend and ATE. I mean ATE. Giant steak & cheese calzones all to myself, ice cream, the works. Then back to my old ways the next…

You can find a few healthy options at Panda Express...I hear you on Subway, sometimes it's just not appealing. At Starbucks, they have yogurt and granola parfaits that are delicious! It's a great snack, and a healthier choice than their more fattening bakery and cafe items.

Wow what a difference! You actually look younger too....beautiful!

Tried to add the pic for you, but the link won't work for me. Sorry!

I just copied and pasted the link into my browser so it took me to your photo album, but I see that someone else pasted it into the thread for ya... Nice!! I really think just staying active is the key, no matter what you choose to do. You look fabulous!
-
You look awesome - your waist is tiny! LOL, love the Jersey Shore pic. :) What have you been doing for workouts?
-
Yes, it's okay to work out if you have a cold...if you have a fever, however, it's best to rest. Make sure you drink plenty of water and don't push yourself quite as hard as you normally would if you just aren't feeling it. Go by how you feel - your body will tell you if it can take it.

I know what you mean, I get totally scale-obsessed. But what I mean is, does this whole process get easier? Does it feel like less work the longer time passes? Or is it as intense and as much work as it is this first week? I just feel like my days are completely filled with planning and thinking about it.
