Eat more protein. Drink more water before meals. If you're like me and like the allusion of eating a lot, cut food up small and whatnot so it LOOKS like more :)

If it works for you, why not? Personally I'm not a fan of Subway. But that's just me. And the fact that the ones near me have awful people working there. And that I'm a chicken fan but dislike the grilled chicken option because it's not the best chicken out there. But again, that's me. If it works for you, who cares what…

Glad you were able to reset your streak :)

I love my home gym equipment. I hated going to the gym. The costs and the travel time and the people. I love being able to work out at home. It helps me tremendously.

I like adding a tea bag to my water jug and leaving it in there. Adds a little flavour to it. I adore it.

For the first 4 months or so I didn't do a single thing exercise wise. Just cut calories and that was absolutely fine for me. Only in January this year did I start to want to exercise. I now exercise when I feel like it, not when I "should" to get extra calories or anything. I think it all depends on the person though.…

Look in your My Foods tab then edit it.

I use Fitness Blender videos. You can use hand weights or whatever or you can use waterbottles or anything you can find around the house.

Haha, scary idea but I think it's a good way to keep things into perspective. At least now you KNOW that your "off day" was that amount and what kind of macros it gives you. Knowing is good. :) I find that it helps down the line when making decisions about what to eat as well on regular days too. I just find it very…

If that works for you, no problem. I'd perhaps suggest logging it all anyways so that way you are aware of what you're eating. Knowledge is power!
-
I tend to about every 3 months or so. Some of my friends on here do it every 2 months, some every 6 months, some never. Personally I find that about every 3 months works for me. :)

Lose weight for yourself, for no one else. Ever.
-
Drink lots of water. And perhaps choose a less restrictive calorie goal. You don't have to lose it all overnight.
-
I don't do cheat meals or days. I eat what I want and make it fit into my calorie goals. Every so often, I eat at maintenance for a week or so to give myself a break from a constant deficit though. That tends to help with weight loss as well. But some people love cheat meals/days/weeks/whatever, but some don't. I don't.
-
I can't say that I've seen one...
-
I agree. Tracking both is the best way to go. Even if you want to do a cheat day or meal or whatnot, I think, at least personally, it's best to know what I'm consuming so at least I can have that knowledge. The more you know.

I can't say I tried the UP3. I don't need the HRM so I didn't bother. Perhaps one day. But for now the UP2 does what I want. At least. Yes, seriously. Even in the app it sucks because I don't have a data plan so if I'm not in a wifi zone or connected, it doesn't process if I hit End Stopwatch Mode. :/

I find it infuriating because I like to use forums to research things I have questions for. But I search and search and still can't find answers. Because the forums are down. That annoys me. Haha. I'm sure many use the forums to get answers to their questions so they don't have to email in support all the time with things…

I haven't worn it anywhere except the wrist so I can't say... Sorry I don't have anything to add. I'd guess though, based off of grocery shopping when I get zero steps since I'm pushing a cart, that it does count steps better with movement though. But this is based off the up2. Not sure about the one you have.
-
Mine was fine yest but now today I don't see the negative calorie adjustment so I assume it's not syncing again. Seems to happen every so often, doesn't it? :/
-
I have the Up2 and I like it. I guess I must be in the small category of people that do... I don't mind the band, I have no trouble (usually) to put it into sleep mode. The vibrate for idle feature usually scares me so it gets me moving, haha. I dislike that you can't put it into stopwatch mode from the band though.

I emailed them on June 1st about this. They got back to me on June 8th saying that the team is aware of it and are working on a fix for the forums as soon as possible.

Sometimes when I'm sad or feeling low, I'll read threads like this and it makes me giggle.
-
Can make protein shakes or something. Why are you limited to 100 cal though?
-
You are AMAZING!
-
I saw nothing seemed reported since then but then whats going on? This is just so terribly defeating to have over 8000 steps and such a negative adjustment and it keeps getting bigger... When it works right i love it but all these syncing issues suck. :( Hopefully this fixes itself soon....
-
I take it back - it's syncing weirdly. Tells me I have a -276 adjustment. However, in my Jawbone app, I've take almost 8,000 steps today and it's telling me that I have over 500 cal left to go for the day. There's a huge delay going on here. I have no idea what. But with all these sync and non update issues this past week,…

Congrats! You're doing a fantastic job.

I have a desk job and I've lost 52 lbs so far. You can totally. Seems that this thread has provided you ways to go about it. Good luck!
