iPhone & Logging on MFP app
I've been using the app on my iPhone to scan bar codes for awhile now. Recently updated to the newest ios version and for some reason the flash light comes on whenever I try to scan a bar code now. I cannot seem to get that to turn off! I've tried Googling and checking a few leads but nothing substantial. Does anyone else…

Lifting with Wrist Injury
Hello! I'm hoping for some help for ideas on what to do. I currently have tendinitis in my left wrist and most movements hurt. I cannot turn my hand over to do regular bicep curls at all or any movement in that direction. I don't want to do just one arm and not the other. My problem areas where I usually do strength…

Down Again?
Is the syncing down again? The food sync works, but the steps doesn't. I have over 7000 steps today and I normally have a positive adjustment of at least 500 cal by now! :/ It just isn't syncing those. Anyone else seeing this atm?

Firmware Update
Anyone try the new firmware update that came out today? I have UP2 and it seems, based off the Jawbone blog article that I got an email about after updating, that the UP3 & UP4 will continue to automatically track awake, falling asleep, light & deep sleep. It does NOT say the UP2 will - says it'll track falling asleep and…

Sleep Tracking
Hello. I've been always putting the band into sleep mode and waking it up and looking at my sleep data. However, there's things I'm wondering about that Customer Service hasn't been able to answer and I'm wondering if perhaps someone knows. I asked Customer Service how does the band know when you've fallen asleep, if…

Step and Sleep Questions
Had my Up2 for about 2 months now. Never had any issues with it. Now I've noticed that last week and this week, my weekday averages went up a bit. I usually get in about 5,000 steps on weekdays (desk work) but as of this week I seem to be getting just over 6,000 steps. I don't FEEL like I'm moving more, but I guess it's…

Helping regarding logging of weight training
Hello! New to Jawbone Up2 but not new to MFP! I'm lost as to where and how to log exercise though... If I do a Fitness Blender weight training video, do I log that on the Jawbone app or on MFP? I have all the custom made exercises on MFP and I'd prefer to log it there, but then how does Jawbone know that I've done that? Or…

FISH
I've been doing some research on fish since I'm trying to incorporate it into my lifestyle. I've bought, recently, stuffed scallops, cod, salmon, and perch. So far, my bf and I have enjoyed the stuffed scallops and the perch. The cod was okay, rather bland, but some spices can fix that no problem. We're not fond of the…

2040 calories seems too much?
I keep seeing all these message board threats with people saying their intake is 1500-1600 a day... MFP set mine at 2040 and I sometimes have a hard time sticking to that! I set it to lose 1lb a week, sedentary activity. I'm 288lbs atm, 5"6. Is 2040 daily accurate? I have been making better choices, based off of what I can…

HRM or Pedometer?
I've seen it floating through the forums that a HRM would be better than a pedometer for tracking steps for walking. Is this true? If yes, are there particular ones that you recommend over others? I have a limited budget but I'd like to get something that can accurately track time of walk, steps, and calories burned.…

Water Intake
What constitutes one cup of water? 250ml? 500ml? 1l? I'm trying to get in the recommended 8 cups of water a day, but it's hard not knowing what exactly one cup is. I've Google searched and asked friends, but I get such a vast variety of answers. I go with the assumption of 500ml is one cup. If that's the case, I usually…
