I LOVE avocados but I didn't until very recently - HOW?! How have I gone so long without eating avocados! What I do (and this is no way as professional as some of the other recipes posted here) is simply cut an avocado in half, take out the stone then fill the gap with salsa. I guess you could make a fancy, lovely homemade…

I've tried various amounts of calories over the past year and I've found that for my lifestyle, 1200 is the best way for me to lose weight. I eat things with healthy amounts of fat, I try to up all of my calories and other nutrition so that I stay healthy. I also don't work out as often as some people here do which is…

I'm from the UK too - anyone is welcome to add me!

I've got a crazy sweet tooth and I've just starting being healthy again after a few weeks of completely abandoning any healthy eating/working out so I'm currently limiting myself to one unhealthy thing a day. If I go to Starbucks and get a latte in the afternoon then I won't have some chocolate after dinner, things like…

I was just checking - you can never be too sure on here!

@spider_mark51 I'd date you too if you're anywhere near as cute as the cat in your picture!

Sorry - I didn't skip you deliberately! You had posted while I was writing/posting!

@JessicaMcguig If I were into girls, definitely bang/date/marry!

I meant that in response to Hexahedra's comment that if I feel my arms are too big due to fat, calorie deficit and working out will help and the way that I find best to lose fat by working out is a combination of strength training and cardio. I wasn't sure how much cardio would help this but from what he said and knowing…

I wish I could but I can no way afford it!

Thanks for the reassurance that cardio is the way to go. Can anyone suggest any good toning exercises for arms?

Hey, I'm Sophie! I started losing weight last March at 191lbs and I got down to 172lbs last July. Since then I've been up and down (last Christmas-time really set me back especially), getting back down to my lowest, 170, this April. I'm now back to 182lbs (as of last Monday - hopefully I've lost a bit this week) but I'm…

I'll join! I've got loads of things going on around that time so this would be great!! I'm currently 179 lbs and I'm on day 8 of the 30 Day Shred, which has really increased my fitness levels already so fingers crossed for good results!

Hi Laura, I'm Sophie and I'm from England. My starting weight was 191lbs and I'm currently 179lbs. I'm looking to be anywhere between 125 and 130, but it depends how I feel when I get there. I'm just taking it all one step at a time! I'm always looking to meet new people here and I hope we can motivate each other. It's…

Probably marry... Or date for a long time then stay friends.

I always think having kids would be a great way to keep fit, especially if you had a jogging stroller! My mum has never done much exercise and I was an only child but just taking me to all my extra curriculars, looking after me and working full time kept her fit! I have twice weekly ballet classes (3 lessons if I'm doing…

Workout number 3 is done! I found it so much easier today even though I ached so badly all day long. Bicycle crunches are still so hard but I can notice that they're getting easier. I've never done push-ups before so I'm always on my knees but I hope that I can do proper push ups by level 2. My diet is easier, although my…

Day 2 completed! I ached so much this morning, walking up and down stairs was the worst because of the burn in my legs (mostly calves and quads)! It's good aching though, not injury aching (I love the warm up and cool down in 30DS, they're so important but often left out) It was slightly harder to do today because of the…

Everyone who's worried about doing it: just bite the bullet and go for it! So pleased to hear that everyone is getting great results and it's so motivating :) What changes does/has everyone make/made while doing 30DS? I've got back into bad habits so my diet isn't too great right now...Plus, although it's over a month…

It's great to have so many people doing it together! Do any of you ever get to the stage in a workout where you're just lying on the floor, physically unable to reach up and do the last few crunches/push ups/burpees?! Any tips on how to push through in a workout? Kristin, our stats are really similar, just a few pounds and…

I hated that one! I found the bicycle crunches so hard too! I have a set of 3 pairs of weights, ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 kg so I use whichever I feel I can handle. I've never used weights before though! What do you use?

Hi Tilo, Thanks for your friend request! I've really got out of the working out habit so my stamina wasn't particularly great but I'm hoping that by the start of next week I can start level 2 (I'm aiming for week 1- level 1, week 2 - level 2 etc.) I love the cardio sections but I hate the ab minute! Which do you find best?…

It's the first day it hasn't rained in about a week, here in England. Still a bit cloudy and slightly windy but it's meant to be improving!
