  • Disney World! I love going so this will be a good excuse for me to go!
  • I know I'm not supposed to, but I think I'm going to run again today and count it as my day 3. I did my day 1 Mon and didn't do anything until Friday, so I'm thinking I'm going to do my day 3 run today and FINALLY finish week 2! I'm so nervous about moving on to Week 3. :ohwell: Oh and I'm really trying to stick with it so…
  • Everyone try to be good this weekend! Don't forget we made our weigh-ins on Monday!! :)
  • Weekends are hardest for me too, but I'm trying to be good today since I cheated 2 nights during the week!
  • Sure you can laughing fox! So this week I cheated with Mexican, Thurs I ate a french bread pizza and then school had a "BBQ" and had burgers catered by Back Yard Burgers so I ate one of those and a small bag of chips :(, and today I ate a lean pocket and french green beans and tonight I will be eating something not so…
  • so I definitely cheated yesterday :( I didn't work out AND I ate Mexican. UGH! I was doing so good!! Today I get on the scale and I gained 1.6 lbs toay. I know that it's mostly water weight but I'm so pissed.
  • That place sounds so cool!!! I wish we had one!
  • This is a good idea to keep up with what we're doing so we can stay active so we can be supportive for others, and get support. So far today, I have eaten 1 cup of raisin bran and 1/2 cup of skim milk and had 1 bottle of water. I'm trying to start running so I'm doing the Couch 2 5K program. This evening I'm doing day 2 of…
  • Lauren, I was SO nervous about starting my 90 sec run because week 1 was rough for me, but since you get to walk for 2 min to recover it's not too bad. I would do an extra day with you and definitely stick with it. You can do it!
  • Great everyone! They say support helps so we'll see!
  • I started Day 1 on Week 2 yesterday! Then this morning did my eliptical/stairstepper cross machine thing for 28 min. I'm trying to do cardio everyday so maybe it will be easier for me to run when it's my day. So tomorrow I hope to continue Week 2 so I can move on to Week 3 FINALLY! You're almost done!!! I hope to lose some…
  • My name is Loren. I am a senior this year majoring in Accounting. I was recently married, Feb 7, and I've been struggling with weight loss like FOREVER! Football season is going to be hard because there's always lots of drinking and cooking out, but I'm going to try to continue my weight loss despite these bad days.…
  • Oh and I'm going to try to start a new thread every week that will say something like Cramming Our Brains NOT Our Faces Week 2, " " Week 3, etc.
  • So it's decided I guess. Our group name will be "Cramming Our Brains NOT Our Faces!" It's only Tues. so I guess we can go ahead and record our starting weight today.
  • Haha that's a beautiful name Lauren! I like both of your names! I guess I'm somewhat in shape. My problem is I've done the eliptical and some cross stairstepper/eliptical type machine (no clue what it's called) so running is a bit harder.
  • meeb... I've been doing it on a treadmill, and I believe you are going to burn about 130 cal walking+running in week 1 and 150 cal walking+running in week 2. If you eat back your work out calories then I'd just eat back 100 to be on the safe side!
  • I'm hoping to start back tonight! I'm just going to start over Week 2. Hopefully I can actually complete my 3 days this week and move on. It's not too hard for me. I just always seem to get too busy by the end of the week to finish my 3 days! I'd love some motivation!
  • Yeah I'm usually bad every weekend so now I guess I'll have to try to be good!
  • Oh and any group name ideas?
  • great!! The more the merrier!!! When do we want to do our weigh in days? I weigh myself everyday (I know that's bad but I can't help it) so it doesn't matter to me.
  • I've found if you do the hula hoop one a lot it really works your core. How is the scale on everyone's wii fit? Is it fairly accurate? According to my home scale it is 5lbs off, but I don't know which one is accurate or not.

  • Great!!! You're not too far from me either!!! What should are group be called? I don't really know how to do this either, but I can give it a shot!
  • I tried to start did good the first week and a half and then my life went crazy and I quit! I'm hoping to pick up again at Week 2. It is so hard!! Right now I can't imagine running 20 min straight. GREAT JOB!
  • Thanks everyone! You were all right of course. I'm down to 147.4 today! I'm just getting frustrated because I've worked my butt off the past month and can't seem to stay with my results very long. It's a horrible habit weighing in everyday, but I am so excited to see in the morning I can't help it!
  • On Itunes you can download podcasts where a guy tells you exactly when to walk and when to run/jog. It has crappy music but it's nice to not have to worry about the time.
  • Another problem is that I did not have the training schedule at the start of this week so I ran Monday but just did 30 min. 15 walking. 15 running and walking. I will have to double up days to get on track with the schedule.
  • It's very addicting! I think that is a good thing.
  • Thanks! I am also 5'5 so I will stick to my 6 and maybe even go down to 5.8 because the last 15 seconds of the 60 seconds of jogging KILL me!
  • Thanks! I have a 26 wk training schedule. I'm going to start now just to see how I do and how dedicated I am before I sign up and then if all goes well start over when the marathon is 26 weeks away. Anyone want to do the marathon with me? http://runrocknroll.competitor.com/mardigras/
  • I weigh myself at least once a day sometimes even 3 or 4 times a day always naked after I potty. I don't let it get to me too much and the only one I really care about is the first morning weigh in. I just can't wait until I'm ok with my weight at even the end of the day!
