I felt the same way when I was doing Pilates. it seemed like so much work for so little reward, but it helped me lose weight and tone my body like nothing else could. I am currently on L2D1 of 30DS and have been seeing great results. If it werent for the results, I would get frustrated with how little calories it burns.

Yes, but cleaning will not give you the same end result as 30DS will. give it time, and add something else into your day for more calorie burning. Go for a walk or a jog. Do some extra jumping jacks or buy yourself a jump rope (they have them for under $10 on amazon.com). If you have machines at home, use them.

Photography is my main hobby. i've never been to school for it, and dont really plan to. its just something I do and study in my free time. My other hobbies are painting, writing, and making a feeble attempt to sew.

I look at my mother in law and how she used to be skinny at my age, and then I look at her now, and I think, i dont want to look like that. definitely motivation to be a MILF on into my 50's. people can come on here and give you grief for this post, but everyone does it. We all compare ourselves to others.

thanks for all the great suggestions! I guess this is something I am going to have to feel my way through until I get it exactly right. The right combination of food to get me through the morning. Its not that I am not hungry... I am very hungry when I wake up! Its just for some reason my stomach doesnt want anything too…

fresh foods are the best. Eat as clean as possible (no processed, boxed, or canned stuff) and you will be good. I know that is hard for people who are busy. If you cannot eat completely fresh, make sure you check the Nutrition Facts on your boxed/canned goods.

Glade commercials. specifically the woman in them. Pediasure, with the obnoxious picky children. And any stereotypical commercial... for example, the bumbling idiot of a husband who is always spilling things on his clothes while the woman just rolls her eyes and shakes her head and cleans up after him with whatever product…

I go over mine more often than I do not. I just keep an eye on calories, carbs, fat and sodium.

because that is what people want to do, and if it is working for them, why question it? Sometimes I eat my calories, sometimes I am too full to. Either way, I am losing weight in a healthy manner.

I drink Coke Zero when I want a treat... something other than water. I dont like tea or coffee, so coke it is for me. I say go for it, but not in excess.

Our dog's name is Luna. I call her many things.... Luna Loo, Lunatic, Loodles, Roo Roo, pupper, and many other names that are probably embarrassing to her.

I was on Celexa and Wellbutrin for depression for about a year. I put on a little weight... about 5 lbs... so nothing insane. All my weight piled on after I stopped the meds and began looking to food for my comfort.

I am the same way. Its the main reason I dont join a gym... i dont like people watching me. That includes the kids and husband.
