make smoothies with fruit & veggies combined? I was reading an article in Redbook how some people combine fruits & veggies to make a smoothie.
Does this taste good? :flowerforyou:

I once tried to make one that had spinach leafs in and could not stand the texture. I have a book called the smoothie bible that has a lot of reciepes in it including vegetable smoothies.0

As long as there are sweet fruits (strawberries, banana, kiwi, etc.) I love smoothies or juices with carrot in it. It gives it such a different taste! But since it's so bland, it has to have some sweet to balance it out.0

I make smoothies most mornings for bfast, with Greek yogurt, juice, different kinds of fruits, and spinach. I can't even taste the spinach. :noway:
If you buy a bag of baby spinach and put it in the freezer, the leaves freeze individually. Then you can just grab a handful and throw them in the blender in the morning. Super easy.
Check out my diary if you'd like. :happy:0 -
I go to this juice place in town and they do lots of combos with fruit and veggies. The last one I had was spinach, parsley, mango, date, soy milk, cider, and banana. Sounds funky, yes. BUT SO GOod!0
