Thanks for your responses everyone! Looks like I'll be investing in some weight equipment. Seems kind of silly that I didn't do that already...
-
Getting equipment is a great idea, thanks! He can and does take the kids, but I want to make sure what I'm doing is efficient. I guess my question is more where to start. It's been a long time since I've been working out regularly and it feels pretty overwhelming to be starting back at zero...now with less time, less…

Hi! I'm due 12/21 with my second. I'm overweight by about 25 lbs. I'm thinking that I can maintain during the at least first trimester -- I'm hoping anyway. I didn't really start gaining until my third with my son and then things got a little out of hand. I'm trying not to let that happen this time! Congrats on your bean!

Feel free to add me -- this is my second round with MFP...I lost 50ish pounds on here a couple years ago before getting pregnant with my son. Now that he's one, I'm back and trying to lose about 35 more pounds.

I love that you're doing a mid-way success story, because it truly is a success! Great work and keep up the good fight

I'm late to respond to this -- but I take class from an instructor who is very heavily influenced by kundalini yoga, so we do a lot of energy and chakra work. She calls it a cleanse and quite honestly, I find it very helpful. There's a number of kundalini exercises that "cleanse" and in my experience, it's been lovely.…

this is great! you can tell you're feeling more confident in the second picture!

I am a psychologist, but I it is impossible for someone on these forums to help you in the way that you need. Based on the information you provided, one cannot make a diagnosis of ED -- that being said, you do seem to have disordered thinking about food/eating and at the very least, it's bothering you. I would recommend…

I did 60 minutes of cardio yesterday and have a 90 minute yoga class tonight. I'm thinking I'll take the bambino for a stroll around the neighborhood too -- so that'll count for something. I'm back!

I was lame the past two weeks and missed check-in -- am I still in or did I get eaten?!? My kidney stone is gone, so I will actually feel like a human this week and not a walker! Let me know -- I'll probably do the challenge regardless, just want to count for my team if I can!!
-
First of all, congratulations! Second of all -- keep up your new habits, the ones that helped you lose the weight rather than going back to your old habits.
-
My apologies team...I missed the deadline to post as I was in the hospital (and still am) with a kidney stone. It was sudden and unexpected, so I totally forgot. I will for sure make it up this week!! They are keeping me on fluids for another day then I should be discharged. Expect big numbers from me this week!

Planning my week's meals on Sunday and prepping.

Hi -- I had this moment too, about 3 years ago -- since then I lost weight and wasn't "that fat" anymore, then I had my son, and I'm back. Welcome! This is a great place to be. It's a great tool for logging, support, and more. Feel free to add me as a friend, if you'd like!
-
just take it a day at a time. keep logging. exercise how and when you can. just keep going, even when you feel discouraged (and you will at times) - it's worth it and we are all here to support you! feel free to add me as a friend!
-
omg -- yum! thanks for sharing!

I can't offer much help, but just I have a similar situation -- but oddly enough just with my right hip which can be very tight. My left hip is very open, so I just keep pushing and practicing ... hoping that someday they'll match! What's everyone's favorite hip opener? I've been loving pigeon lately ... which I used to…

Cardio: 120/90 Strength: 300/50 I did belly dancing for Michonne and kickboxing for Rick, since I couldn't decide I was under calories every day. Go team!
-
These are great, thank you so much for your help!!!
-
Cardio: 120 Strength: 210 I liked Rick & Michonne's points so I did belly dancing for M and kickboxing for R. Super fun week! I have another 90 minute yoga workshop tomorrow, so I'll add on strength.

I'll answer here  I did the C25K program a few years ago -- then stopped when I got pregnant with my son. I'm doing it again to get back into running now that he's one (yikes!). It's a great program and really helps you get into a running routine! When I first started, it was hard to keep up. Some times I repeated…

Do something else. I have the same problem and if I grab some water & do something else, I find it usually passes. Sometimes I exercise, sometimes I read...just do something esle even for a little while. If it doesn't work, then I'm really hungry and I pick a snack.
-
I don't have your specific dietary needs -- but I am following a gluten-free diet due to my NCGI. I will say, it's really hard at first to change your eating habits and your thoughts about food, but once you do it ... you'll be amazed at the difference in how you feel. That was what helped me stick to it and keep on track.…

I'm okay in those poses -- I'm not sure. It's like I don't trust my body to be able to do it. I'm just starting to do inversions, which was a similar issue for me -- but I'm finding it less of a barrier at this point. I really want wheel though! I've been in it before, but it's been a while and now I just doubt myself. I'm…

I love yoga and this! Maybe we could make a group? Would that be easier?

I've been eating grapefruit a lot lately, because it's in season and I like it. I'm eating at a deficit, so I'm losing weight -- but it's not because of the grapefruit. I say, if you like grapefruit, eat it -- but not because it "burns fat"

Cardio: 90/90 Strength: 15/45

My son is one and I'm just getting back to exercise and better eating. It's definitely harder when you have a small one to manage too, but you can do it! Feel free to add me if you want! Good luck and congrats on the bambino!

I also have the vegetti and love it. It was like $10 at Marshall's and worth every penny. Zoodles are awesome!
