Thanks for starting this topic..you made me curious to look at how my pie chart looked as of yesterday... I had 55% carbs, 26% protein and 19% fat. For those that are experienced... how do you know what to adjust in your diet to get the ratio correct... I was thinking 40% carbs and protein and 20% fat...is that ideal??

LOG your food. I have been horrible at it and have completed 30 day shred and insanity and also did 2-a- day workouts and have only lost 1 pound. This is due to me thinking I know what I'm doing...well it has not worked. I am back to logging my food.

My husband has no control when it comes to olive oil...he says it healthy so he goes overboard. He makes the healthy...unhealthy. WE always end up arguing in the kitchen because of it. :(

Thanks for your input... I started counting calories this morning. My only issue with counting calories is I am a sticker and hold on to those calories as long as possible ... for that just incase. May sound stupid but I do. Sometimes with breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch I still have 500 calories for dinner. I dont know how…

I made a "bread" using almond meal and I loved it...especially toasted with PB. I dont crave bread anyways so I dont know if it will increase cravings.

I figure if you are close enough on paper/food tracker, you may have consumed enough since calories and measurements are not always 100% on target. Just my thoughts.

I workout best by myself. This way I can focus on what I'm doing, no small talk. I did the insanity workout and my daughter loved it too, and when she joined me... my workouts were not as effective.

This morning I logged in everything that I planned on eating through my late day snack before dinner. This gives me a better idea of what I will have left for the reminder of the day. I also added in an extra early milk/pb drink so I dont believe I will come up short today.
