Of course!! Even when you're up to running a 5k, you should still run at a pace that you can hold a conversation. At no point during my C25K training did I sprint.

Shortly after I completed the C25K program I began Hal Higdon's half- marathon training. I haven't ran into any problems & I'm running 8 miles through.

I repeated a few of the weeks. I don't remember exactly which ones, but when I felt like I was dying I knew I needed to master that level before I moved up a notch.

Great job! I recently completed C25k a few months ago. Those first few weeks were awful!! The program definitely works. Yesterday I ran 52 minutes straight.
