My mother turns 85 this year my father, 90. It is only in the last two years that they were not really mobile and healthy. My mom is a former olympic level swimmer (1944 olympics cancelled) and swam all her adult life including masters level. And my father was a life long tennis player. My father was blessed with an…

Would it be a bad idea to start today if you knew you could only lose 10. Go for it. Get back on the wagon and do the healthy things you know work for you. Whatever you end up at -20, -10, -30. You will still be ahead of where you are today.

Truly amazing! Great job.

And it is an awesome way to support your local economy!

While I really like the whole take huge block of cheese thing, I think the guy has self control issues and therefore decides he has better control of others. Try to be a duck and let it roll of your back. Hopefully you'll find another job and get shed of him.

Lordy, but your husband needs his eyes checked. Great job!

I chuckled when I read this. Because yesterday I did WK4 D1, and I thought, there is no way in the space of another 5 runs I will be able to complete 20 minutes without stopping. But I figure I am going to have to. So, I am glad I saw your post. Also, I hate running too, the best part is when it is over. However, I believe…

Lost 1.6, it is my biggest loss in a month. Since January 1, I have lost 10 lbs, but I have lost 12 inches overall.

I am on LV3 Day 6, in the entire month of February I lost 2 pounds of scale weight, 1.6 of it was today. But I lost 12 inches over all. So do NOT get discouraged. Keep after it, you'll get there. I am so glad I stuck with 30DS, even though that month of pretty much not losing anything was tough.

If you are lifting weights start measuring your body. I have only lost about 8 lbs, but since starting circuit training I have lost 11 inches over all. A pound is a pound, however muscle is denser, so that pound takes up less space. Keep at it. I just turned 49 on February 10th. I eat all of my exercise calories, so I am…

This is awesome! So inspired by your story.

Hi everyone, I just started LV 3, but I wanted to encourage you all. You might be sore the first couple of days, but don't give up, push through it even if you have to go slowly. You won't regret. And there is no shame in doing the modifications. I have lost around 10 inches, or more. Another big tip drink water, lots of…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! And congratulations.

While I agree it takes a conscientious decision to be aware of your posture, without a strong core it is next to impossible. Pilates and Yoga are my suggestions.

Great job! That is such a boost.

Great news! Right with you, keep going.

The scale tells the tale of the muscles you have built. You look fantastic. So excited for you.

Such an inspiring story. Your perseverance and dedication has paid off not only for you but for all those whose lives you have touched. Amen and great job!!

I have always been cold. I was cold all through college at size 6, and I am cold now all the time and I am a size 16. So I am a little frightened by the cold thing everyone is talking about. In our house I wear a sweatshirt in the summer because my athletic sons are always hot.

Awesome, you really look great. Keep up the great work.

It's done!
