  • On weekends, if I know that I am leaving town for some reason and won't be able to work out, I eat less. I try to stay busy so I don't think about food that much.
  • Work out playlists are the best. I look forward to getting new music to run to it! And some music makes me feel like working out.
  • I've been forgetting to eat breakfast :(. I go to the gym when I wake up and it hurts to work out even I have eaten.
  • I always try to eat a little before I eat out so that I don't go hungry. Most restaurant foods are loaded with oils and fats. I might just order whatever I want but just eat a little bit of it.
  • I wouldn't worry too much about getting too muscular. Many people try intensely to bulk up but still can't. Just keep doing what you're doing.
  • Swimming is great! The only problem is that I can't swim in a bikini flip turning and such so I get funny tanlines from my speedo. I would recommend swimming laps indoors.
  • Hi! My name is Wendy and I live in central/north Florida going to school as an art history major! Trying to lose around 20 lbs as well :)
  • By definition, there are several types of vegetarians in our society. People are not only vegetarians for political reasons so to define vegetarianism by the "having parents" is incorrect. Some simply do not like the taste of certain meats or cannot digest them. It is also much simpler to tell your host that you are a…
  • "Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." I have been a vegetarian for 8 years. 4 years I was Ovo-lacto then for the most recent 4 years I have been Pescatarian. There area bunch of different types of vegetarians and vegans.
  • I love watermelon! I never buy a whole one because none of my cheap knives can cut through that skin. I'll even buy two halves to avoid it. Then slicing them into cubes by the sink isn't a huge mess.
  • My Typical Grocery List: Salad Grapefruit Carrots Onions Broccolli Tofu Chicken Substitute Eggs (I split the white/yolks myself) Reduced Fat Milk Reduced Fat Cheese (25 cals per slice) Miracle Whip Tuna Digestive Yogurt English Muffins Tomato Soup Popsicles
  • Try to make yourself eat healthy portion sizes at appropriate times. It might hurt a little but it is worth it. I was not eating for a month of extreme stress and dropped 10lbs. I cheered up and got productive eventually. I gained all the weight back immediately and then some. I got to be the heaviest I have ever been from…
  • Age: 20 Height: 5'9 SW:158 CW:152 GW:125 I just want to get back to my weight from last fall :)
  • Vodka and water with lime juice. Sounds disgusting but give it a try. It's not bad.
  • I used to do the same thing. There are ways that everyone deals with this issue. My personal solution was to stay busier. If I am not around food, I can't eat it. Surround yourself with other people because you will not binge eat in front of others. I will go to the library to study instead of studying at home so I am not…
  • Make sure not to eat in the middle of the night. If you always satisfy that hunger at that time, your body will get into the habit.
  • I try to eat with friends then you are less likely to binge. Also, if you just allow yourself to have a small bite then you won't feel deprived. If I ever want to indulge in a dessert, I eat my meal first then have a nibble of the sweet snack. Then, I throw it away. On the downside, I am wasteful.
  • Steak and Shake milkshakes are terrible. I was drinking a seasonal peppermint milkshake when I decided to look up the calories on my phone. Threw it away.
  • Asian supermarkets usually carry it. I haven't seen them at any local supermarkets.
  • I agree. I'll stick with my diet soda thank you very much. Most studies have indicated that the downsides to drinking artificial sweeteners is that it leads to cravings for more sweets. My diet soda intake has absolutely no correlation to my dessert intake. In fact, it satisfies my sweet tooth.
