for me, yes a rest day is important not just to let my body recover but also mentally as well. I just need a day where I just chill at home and at the most take my dogs for a short walk.

1) rarely. I have a bad sleep if I do. 2) I just eat something. I try and make sure I have a few calories left over for an evening snack 3) if I go to bed hungry I am ravenous in the morning, probably not in the best of moods and I want something to eat NOW!

I never used to but today I have done it for the first time !! from now on I will do it. My settings are private anyway so no-one can see but me, which is what I want.

congrats on the black belt !! that is awesome. I do muay thai, I really enjoy it. Not to fight but just the training. I was doing 5x5 a while ago but stopped as I hurt my knee. Had to do a lot of glute strengthening, work on tight quads as well. Just started yesterday and feels good to be back doing it !

maybe get it checked out just in case? my only suggestions is warm up and stretch beforehand. Make sure your glutes are firing properly - look up glute activation exercises. If I don't stretch my quads beforehand my knee starts to get a bit sore but I do have very tight quads which is something I am currently working on.…
