9 more days! This is not nearly as difficult as I was hoping. Still, I feel like it's been a great experience.

I started out around 360. My first 20 came off within a month.

I have a problem with people thinking that just because you have 1,200 calories to "spend" that you have to "fill" the quota. There is so much more to health than calories. If you want a glass of wine, have one. Just be aware of how it affects you and your goals. Don't make this complicated.

I've been "paleo" for a few years. I've recently had some health problems (I've talked to nutritionists and doctors to ensure that my diet was not the cause) and I have started a Whole 30 as of today to kick start me back on track. Hit me up if you'd like to chat.

I'm down! The girlfriend and I started today.

Eat. Still hungry? Eat more. Is it an issue? See a doctor.

For me the healthiest (and most inexpensive) flavoring agents are hydrogen and oxygen. Water-flavored water... Just kidding. I know you have gotten douchey answers like that all day. For real, I'm good with just water but once in a while I'll toss a slice of lime in it or grapefruit is another of my favorites. You can also…

Mac n cheese. Every time.

My goal height is to add another 7 inches or so. I'd like to be be 6'5'' if I could. I figure the weight will just even out once I get there.

23lbs is nothing to sneeze at. Great work! As far as decimals, I generally only use whole numbers. I round up. The number doesn't matter as much to me - unless I've lost whole pounds I don't count it.

all of this ^

Body weight can fluctuate over the course of 24 hours by 8lbs. Stop stressing about it. Get into a habit of having the same weigh in routine - use the bathroom, don't eat, disrobe, weigh - and do it once a week. This may not be 100% accurate, as it will vary from scale to scale, but it will give you the ability to see a…

I'd like to add that I see a ton of replies almost blaming the OP for "letting" this kind of thing happen. Really? SMH.

I've been there. I understand how difficult it is. Here's what happened to me: My ex (notice she's an EX now) was insanely unsupportive. She knew full well what my goals were - we actually started together on MFP - and she knew what I needed to do in order to reach them. For a few weeks things were great, we motivated one…

I'm a sucker for girls with glasses.

Right on man! Great work!

Hey there and welcome back! I'm not every day active but I am here every couple - I lost 100+ through the support of some very awesome people on here and would be happy to join you on your mission. Unfortunately, I gained a bit of it back and am working to get that off now! Add me if you like.

I love Nerd Fitness and I'm a part of the Rebellion as well. Let me just say, wow. You look fantastic (and hot)

+1 for big hats

Hey @justicer68 - I think we killed the thread because we rock!
-
I'm just going to assume you mean me and not that insanely fit and ripped guy above me. I thank you.

Some of the ladies I've seen on here... just. Wow. I am actually single ;)

I don't think it HAS to be an organized system but it certainly is for many. You can not believe and not have any other aspects to your non-belief but many Atheists that I know do not believe in a God but they do have an organized, commonly accepted structure to what they DO believe.

I'm fairly impressed myself.
-
So sad that we can't all just be adults about it and agree to disagree.

I do. As cheesy as it sounds, I believe in something not all that different in principle that a Jedi. I'll explain. Once I was old enough to make up my own mind, I felt a connection to the world and eventually became a Pagan in my late teens. Of course I kept this on the low because my family is HARDCORE Baptist. I got…
