It never really closes up...it just gets super tight. Your tongue is a muscle after all. I had mine out for 12 years and was going through some jewelry and thought hmm.....It was tight but it went right in.

You can eat whatever food you want, including two double bacon cheeseburgers from McD's, and still lose weight. It's all about calorie deficit, not food types. And before someone brings it up, it's possible to meet your macros eating fast food too. You were generalizing. So as a generalization...it would be an…

Omg that's high. I thought mine was a little much at $40. (It may just be the area in which you live though)

Why are you yelling at us?  lol

I read the title and immediately knew it was PF. However....a little of that article may have been exaggerated. One of them says that she was asked to leave...the other that she was offered a shirt. So as much as I cannot stand the reputation of PF (never actually been there) I have to take this lightly. My gym also has a…

".....nor do I remember soliciting for opinions. But I do I welcome opinions........" Either you want them or....you don't. The quickest way to "solicit" an opinion is to post an idea in an open forum for the world to see. If you only want the opinions of people that agree with you and filter those that oppose.....speak…

I agree. Those are better choices. That was the point I was making. There are ways to make fast food options work. You just have to be aware of what your eating and not just order the first thing that looks good. I've done that recently. Wendy's Grilled Asiago Chicken Club (omg that thing was good). I ate it first...then…

Sweetie....just an observation. (no snark) This post may have gone a bit better had you posted it in the "chit chat" section instead of the Diet and Weight Loss advice section.:flowerforyou:

A bit of an exaggeration lol If I were to eat 2 double bacon cheeseburgers from Mickey D's it would be nearly all of my total calories for the day which is 1600 on off days (The bacon clubhouse burger with reg bacon is 720 cal), add fries and a soda and I would be WAY over and not even be close to my macros. Same for the…

Oh.....I use Killians Irish Red in my Corned Beef (it's "American Irish" and easy to find) I don't know where you live but you can try some of these.... http://nj1015.com/top-10-most-popular-irish-beers/

I had knee problems after my children were born too. Turns out that weight gain and a muscular imbalance (in the muscles that support the knees...hamstrings, quads, etc) due to decreased activity (and wacked out center of gravity lol) was my problem. The more I squat (lunge, step) the more stable my knees become and the…

This too! "Diets" are short term.....They will not work long term. Don't "diet"......just make better choices. SideSteel, Sabine, and this lady here....speak the truth

Ok for what ever reason you are trying to cut wheat..................there is NO reason you can't eat everything else. Meat, beans, fruit, eggs, veggies. Are you seriously trying to survive on nuts and veggies only? you eat only carby/fatty stuff of course you are going to be hungry in a little bit. You gotta throw in some…

LOL. I understand where you are coming from. A lot of people though get bored eating it the same way over and over (insert lame joke here :)).....hmm. Let's say that I cooked 3lbs of lemon chicken and I have 2lbs of leftovers (would never happen in this house lol) and after 2 days I get tired of just eating it plain with…

My "normal daily" activities are already figured in to my daily calorie goal. This is why when you set up on MFP it asks you your activity level. So it can "guesstimate" how many calories you will need to do your "day to day" stuff. ETA....if it's outside of what I would normally do (extra walking, running, gym, etc)...yep…

Yes...but do you ever have leftovers? Do you eat the leftovers "plain" or in a recipe?
