I count things like carrots and potatoes, but I don't count lettuce, celery, or broccoli. They're pretty low calorie, and I don't want to give myself any incentive to not eat them. I may go 30-50 calories over, but it helps encourage me to eat them.

Great NSV! Love that mindshift- I think when you stop trying to force it, it comes.

You look (and I'm sure feel) great- congratulations!

Hi all! Hope it's okay if I join late. I'd been doing really well on this for a few weeks, but then last night I couldn't sleep and I went straight for the peanut butter and popcorn. Argh! I'm going to count it starting from yesterday. My cutoff will be 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends. LNS: 1 Me: 0

You look amazing! Congratulations. You can really see the difference.

If you're worried about the caffeine, switch the last cup to decaf (and then eventually the second cup too if you can). This way you'll feel like you're getting your fix, but you won't get as dehydrated. If you're REEALLY addicted and get bad headaches, you can even start switching to just half decaf/ half caf. If it fits…

Great NSV! Yeah, I know just what you mean. I used to eat wayy too much every night and wake up feeling blah. It's great to look forward to breakfast.

Great idea. And congrats on 185 lost!

So sorry to hear about your cat :(. I would say go easy on yourself, but try not to binge. Maybe try to just eat your maintenance calories for the next week or so? Stressing yourself out about weight loss when you're already feeling down probably won't help.

This one's pretty good too, although it doesn't have as many different foods as the MFP database. http://nutritiondata.self.com/
