Does anyone have any tips for getting back on track? I fell of the band wagon this week after the death of my cat and I just can't seem to get back on it. I need help! My mom is baking brownies even though I asked her not to. She doesn't even eat them...I swear she does it just to sabotage me. Help me!!

Try planning your meals ahead of time. That's what I have been doing and it has worked for me. And always leave alittle wiggle room so if you have a craving you can enjoy it without feeling guilty. Just don't snack on bad things. AND STAY AWAY FROM THOSE BROWIES! lol

I know all of this, but just choose to forget I guess when i'm hungry. My boyfriend knew I was sad over my cat and handed me fudge stripe cookies even though I had just said I was a bad girl for eating too many Oreos. I just don't understand why the people around me are sabotaging me! I packed on a pound this week. I'm so pissed! I hope I get my motivation back soon.

Packed on a pound? Dont beat yourself up. As a long time "heavy" that one pound wieght gain is no big deal. Mourning is natural. Look in the mirror, smile and say this..........."Today, I WILL WIN!"

    Good luck and keep fighting.

A pound is a lot when you still have 20 to go and have only lost 4. I just wish I understood WHY I'm suddenly over eating. When I'm stressed I used to starve myself...Now I've been eating everything!

So sorry to hear about your cat :(. I would say go easy on yourself, but try not to binge. Maybe try to just eat your maintenance calories for the next week or so? Stressing yourself out about weight loss when you're already feeling down probably won't help.
