Sure you can lose 37 lbs on 800 cals, but why would you want to when you can do that eating more? You don't have to respond, it's more a comment than a question I guess. i have lost 32 eating double that amount and I am a 5'3 girl :( That sounds like something you would be hospitalized for (an 800 cal diet). I myself don't…

Usually at least 3 times a week. I like variety in my workouts so it's useful. I think though if I could go back in time I would have chosen a treadmill instead though. My experience with the elliptical is different from most people. I actually get sore knees if I use it for too long. So I only use it for no longer than…

I don't use mine all the time, but I like having to throw into the mix because I am always changing up my activities. I also like to use it when I am watching a movie because I hate just sitting lol. I have the Proform 6.0 ZE Elliptical and I have had no problems with it at all, had it over a year.

Well the difference lies in the fact that they are monitored daily by a doctor, we are not. So it isn't unrealistic when you consider you are at home and not on a show that is monitoring health so you don't drop dead on them. They also have daily access to trainers. So it's only unrealistic if you let it be. Of course your…

My rest day is a Hatha Yoga day...lots of stretching. It relaxes me and energizes me all at the same time. My muscles feel better after a Hatha Yoga workout so I am ready for a new week. The rest of the week cardio alternating with strength training days.

I will be making this very soon! Hubby is sitting next to me at his pc and I read him the recipe and he wants now lol. Our sodium intake is always high, but we drink a ton of water so it balances out somewhere down the line. :flowerforyou: Thanks for sharing!

I am going to look into it because I am going to start biking soon quite a bit and it may be helpful for triathlon training. I don't mind using multiple technologies if I can get better readings :flowerforyou:
-
Yeah that is what I just read. Not quite what I am looking for, but maybe useful when I decide to start triathlon training...thanks for checking :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the input aliciadwhite ;)

Heart rate focus is one of my important points, I will look into "Misfit Shine" :)

Thanks for the input! I did not know the Flex counted arm movement as steps :frown:
-
Thank you ;) Yeah I am trying to get as much input as I can so I can weigh pro's and cons. Since I already have the Body Media I am not in a rush at all, it's mainly a comfort issue. That and I live in Virginia Beach and am sleeveless much of the year, so something for my writs would work better for me. Thanks again for…

Anyone else have any input on this ? :flowerforyou:
-
Thanks for the feedback! How long have you had it?
-
Thanks for the info. I like the more discreet look and comfort when working out aspect of a wrist monitor.

Before I got Body Media Fit, I just experimented. I went with the higher number, if I was losing weight, all was good, if not I went with a slighter lower average until I was losing, or at least not gaining . If your not gaining or losing there could be many factors (like a plateau). I lost weight fairly consistently just…

Thanks for that info, that would be a problem for me since I actually take my disabled (blind) Chihuahua for a whole lot of stroller walks. She even enjoys my 5k training wind in her face ;)
