  • Kashi meals are good. They taste and look like the protein that it has in it. The santa fe beans and rice (i think smart ones) tastes really good and is huge in fiber.
  • You can be happy. This is a good start to make a life change! It stinks that you have had such a rough life but you can change the path for the better. Be strong!

  • I think Dannon light and fit yogurt has a "low sugar" kind. I've seen it before in the grocery store, I think it is geared towards diabetics.
  • I have too many favorites. Best concert is a tie.... Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Sublime (with Rome)
  • Bake chicken breasts with a little salt and pepper. When done, top with marinara (or tomato slices) and part skim mozzerella or provolone cheese and heat til cheese melts in the oven. Side of spaghetti (mix of regular pasta and wheat) and a salad.
  • Put in a baking dish with a big can of crushed tomatos, an onion and a green pepper cut into slivers, bake, serve over rice. It's my easy version of chicken cacciatore
  • Sounds like Celiac. Try stuff that is gluten free for a couple of days.
  • Keep stalling. I have kids that I don't want my kids around, so I stall or come up with plans so there is no playdate. Eventually they change friends when they havent' played together for awhile.
  • Totally. I don't talk numbers because I'm embarassed of the numbers.
  • I'd recommend you get bottoms that are more flattering, something that comes up higher (not much) but it will cover the bulge. The way the bottoms are so low, it makes it show more the shape you don't want to show. You look great, but if you are going to be self conscious because you are with skinnier friends, just try…
  • Don't the people on Biggest Loser show eat less than the calories they should???
  • Tuna has a mercury issue, which is why they say pregnant women should limit their intake. It is a great fish but in high consumption, can cause issues. Google tuna and how often to eat it per week. You do the research and figure out what's right for you.

  • I quit quite a long time ago, but my main concern was what to do to replace the habit and not eat to replace it. So, I started changing my routine during times I knew I'd normally have a cigarette. After meals was a big one for me, so I did dishes right away instead of going to smoke. To this day, i HAVE to do dishes. It…
  • mixed with mayo, spread on toasted wheat bread with a little lettuce. Simple and yummy
  • You can buy pesto in a jar in the spaghetti sauce aisle. Bake chicken breast for about 20-25 minutes and cut up into slices and toss with pesto sauce. Easy! Or even easier, buy the chicken already cooked, I think tyson or perdue have the slices of chicken. I believe in the deli meat section or in the prepared meals within…
  • I am doing a 9 day nutritional cleanse (isagenix) and working in walking for an hour and some dvd stuff. Average weight loss for 9 days is 7-10lbs. I'm on day 2. Cruise in a week and my shorts are too tight.
  • I like the fruit ones. I tried the plain as a substitute for sour cream on a baked potato and I was not happy. I'm looking foward to trying it for dips.
  • Amazing what 18 lbs can look like. You are well on your way to your goal. Good job
  • Eat something hard to eat, like a chewy granola bar. In the time it takes to eat it, you get the satisfied feeling and if you get a bar high in fiber, it will keep you fuller, longer. My unhealthy trick is to down a diet soda, the bubbles fill your stomach and give you the full feeling for no extra calories.
  • There is no magic cream. sorry. I do know that they fade and a good suntan helps to minimize their appearance.
  • I have an app on my android phone called Cardio Trainer. It's free (they have a pay one too if you want more features) and it will gps you when you do a variety of activities and log them with time, distance, pace, calories burned. It's pretty cool, I use it for hiking trips and when I go skiing.
