Brilliant Stuff!! It's always the THOUGHT of the shred, rather than the shred itself that does it for me . The satisfaction at the cool down, such a good feeling! I went back to level 2 last night, and quite enjoyed it. Tonight will be day 17!!! Going to push on and work hard!!

Hmmn, just seen this thread, I'll check that site out when I get home from work. Think I might join yu guys as my upper body strength really is abysmal

Well last night, I was struggling to motivate myself, I think the fact it's the same workout every night was maybe boring me slightly. so, as it was day 15 I thought I'd see what level 3 was like! Let's say I'll be back to level 2 tonight............................ Some were not too bad, other bits I really struggled…

Well, I'm hitting the wall a bit now, finding motivation tough, however I've not caved in and am still doing my shred every night Tonight will be day 15!!! Halfway to the 30! On a numbers note, weighed in this morning and had GAINED 1.5lbs from day 1:mad: However, on the plus side, I measured up and have lost an inch from…

I missed my shred last night, was really busy when I got in from work, feeling bad about it, would have been day 11 (not taken a day off from the shred yet) Might do levels 1 AND 2 tonight to punish myself........ I'm feeling sore at the thought!!!

I've modded them slightly differently. I have my hands on a chair so I'm not right down on the ground, it really helps wqith the pressure on the shoulders. I do manage to do Natalies leg movements that way. I'm hoping that I'll see a big improvement in my upper body and really hope to be doing the squat thrusts and plank…

I dont think it's near as tough on the legs, but then I think my legs are stronger already. Shoulders are the one area that really burns on level 2, a lot of the strength work on them, plus the plank jacks/squat thrusts in the cardio section put static pressure on them. I'm generally quite weak in the upper body though, so…

Hey guys, ot logged on a couple of days but thought I'd update you with my progress. I've not missed a day and decided to make the switch to level 2 on day 7. I'm finding day 2 tough on the upper body, man your shoulders burn at times!!! And Natalie has a wee cheat on level 2 aswell haha. Jillian notices aswell, it's quite…

Yesterday I woke up in a lot less pain, did my L1D4 and it is actually unreal how much easier day 4 was to day 3. Finished work at lunchtime today, so will get day 5 in no problem!! I am finding the first circuit the toughest, every day I'm having to really push through circuit 1. After that I'm finding it really quite ok…

Did L1 D3 yesterday, still awful lol!! However, waking up this morning, I'm not as sore. Looking forward to getting home from work now to do day 4

Hi folks, I started the shred on Monday.... My thighs are in AGONY!! Working through it though, will do my day 3 when I get in from Work tonight Really impressed with it, amazing how much difference an intense 20 minutes can make. Looking forward to measuring inch loss on day 30

Eggs used to be the one thing I struggled with (I'm a soft-boiled fan - runny yolk, mmmn) Did a bit of googling and now use this (for soft boiled) Boil water in pan. Add eggs in gently with a spoon (so they dont crack) Boil for 1 minute Switch gas off, and cover pan For firm white and soft yolk, leave eggs in water for a…

I recently kicked the diet coke habit My god, the caffeine addiction headaches were unreal!! Will have an odd on now and again, but it's mainly water for me now

Well I'm back on track after a holiday weekend which involved too much drinking. This of course results in the craving for jjunk food!! Back on the waggon now though and determined not to have any more bad days in april!!

Monday again!! Had a long weekend, been off thurs/fri/sat/sun Was a bad food day on thurs, was away with the OH to see Frankie Boyle in Glasgow, stayed over night so ended up going out to dinner and drinking too much! Oh well, weigh in showed no gain, so happy with that and am back on track again now with no distractions!!…

plain white rice. I know it's really bland, but it's gentle on the stomach,

Are you running on the treadmill or outdoors? If it's on the treadmiill, a good tip is to up the incline, which will reduce your pace but the intensity is the same Helped me out

Thanks for the welcome folks:drinker: Going to be a toughie for me tomorrow. Me and OH are off to see Frankie Boyle at the King's theatre in Glasgow tomorrow night. Out for dinner and a couple of drinks first and staying overnight in a hotel Going to stay strong though, without ruining my night.... And I'm sure I'll laugh…

Soryy to hijack your thread here, but it's a huge stumbling block for so many folk. I know myself after a long day in work, knowing you've to get home, prepare dinner, get some of your housework chores done etc that the gym seems such a huge daunting prospect. I'm not a gym goer myself, i try to swim. I've lost count of…

Hi folks. Thanks for the words of welcome! Have got back in the pool this week after having the mother of all head-colds last week! Upped my distance to 64 lengths or 1600metres (1 mile) and finding that distance no trouble just now. Technique has come back to me now and finding it much easier. (Like riding a bike as they…

Loving all the UK peeps in this thread!! I'm fairly new here so I'm just starting..... Had a birthday last week (big 3-0 eek!) so that was tough with all the gifts chocs and offers of drinks. Still lost 1.6lbs last week though, good times.

It was my birthday last week and I blew mine 2 days running!! Out for dinner on Tuesday, then the folks at work bought ne a birthday cake on the wednesday! Drew a line under it and hit the pool hard on thurs and friday.... Still lost my target weight. Dont let one bad day beat you! Stick two fingers up to it as you hit…

I'm not a fan of the gym, much prefer a swim.. However I HAVE to eat beforehand, otherwise the hunger I feel during the swim is hard to take. Carbs are best (I swim after work - so normally have a small to medium plate of pasta before I go). When i get home, some tuna with a side salad is good, then i try to unwind. It's…

Forgot to add meringue shells (I no, I never believed it at first either)

Well, since posting this thread earlier this week, I have drastically cut down on my diet coke intake. Was out for dinner on tues night, had one then, and bought one on Wednesday. Have noticed I'm getting headaches, must be the caffeine addiction:embarassed: Trying to drink more water. Not going to cut out a can of diet…
