I was in the EXACT same boat. I started the website the day my sister got engaged because I did NOT want to face a bridesmaids dress. I started this site at 230, 5'2 last July. By that September I had lost 25lbs strictly from following this site and eating only the amount of calories it told me, about 1500. That September…

I bought it while I was in Dallas and I have to admit, I'm not a fan. It's more grainy than PB and the consistency is totally different to me. I love peanut butter, seriously, LOVE it and this just didn't do it for me.

I'm getting close to finishing "The Witching Hour" by Anne Rice. Very LONG (a little over 1000 pages) by worth it.

Chicken fajitas with lots of sour cream and guacamole Cheese dip with lots of chips and a big old regular dr. pepper  Yes please!

I use the hungry girl recipe, I dont have it handy but go to hungrygirl.com and search for eggs bendict - it's there and it's delicious. -L

This is crazy, I thought I was the only one this happened to :)

So, just a little back story. I started going to a trainer at my gym back in September and it's actually been great. Recently, my boss asked if he could go with me to the gym sometime and eventually signed up with my trainer too. Great, right? Perfect. BUT! I go out to dinner with my trainer and my boss last night and…

So true! You're going to love it!

You're going to love it, Marilynne!

Welcome! Hopefully you'll love this site as much as the rest of us do. If you stick to the site and keep up with your workout dvd's you'll be amazed at how fast it starts falling off....I consider myself a poster child for that! Good luck!!!!!!!!!

I don't have any great recipes but try going to hungry-girl.com or allrecipes.com. I find some great recipes, especially at allrecipes.com because they will list calorie content generally. Hope that helps!

Over Christmas I was on a flight from Minneapolis to Dallas with Raven Symone. She was in some huge baggy sweats and no make up and can I just say, her skin was flawless! I stood right next to her at baggage claim and no one met her at the airport, I thought that was strange. Of course no one met me either  but…

I've talked to my trainer about this show and she said it's not unreal for those people to do 2-3 hours on a stair master or eliptical machine. Seeing as the stair master and myself are not close friends, I can't imagine. I would die....that machine would kill me after 3 hours.

I'm not looking for a total life altering change with the cleanse. I've been sticking to this site since July of last year and even though I've had success, I'm ready to just try something different even for a short time. It's nothing more than that, I'm not taking it as a quick fix.
-
I'm not asking anyone else to do it, just made a decision for myself. I don't think calling my decision stupid is being very supportive, which is really what this site is for. If it's a gimmick then it won't work and that's fine. But I believe my 40lbs lost speak for that fact that I haven't been "eating ****ty food" for…

So, I'm trying to kick start my weight loss again since I've been on a pretty lengthy plateau. Starting on Tuesday I begin my Isagenix 9 Day Cleanse. It's 4 days of this cleansing tea stuff (no food, yikes!) and 5 days of 2 shakes and sensible meal. I'm really going to focus on this and hope to jump start my weight loss…
-
What are everybody's thoughts on Isagenix? I made a post recently about being in the middle of a HUGE plateau for about 4 weeks. Is something like a 9 Day cleanse a good jump start? I've tried adjusting my food and workout and nothing's working. Just looking for anyone who's done it or considered it what their thoughts…

Thank You, Thank You!

I know a while ago I saw a post that someone had put up from Banks about how to get over a plateau. I am STRUGGLING and have not lost weight (not gained either, thank god!) in 4 weeks and it's killing me. If anyone can track that post down it would be greatly appreciated, I couldn't find it when I went looking. Thanks!…

I ate 3 1/2 Krisy Kreme donuts today at work. OH. MY. GOD.
-
Gross! I'm shocked someone would act that way in public! Last time I checked people weren't able to buy Target aisles and claim them as their own! Way to be the better person, she OBVIOUSLY needed the chocolate more than you did! Hopefully it will cure her crankiness! :flowerforyou:

Just a quick question today, I'm thinking of joining 1 or 2 of the classes at my gym. How do people feel about water aerobics? Any thoughts are appreciated!
-
Oh my god! I'm in the same boat! I've been at 15in since September! Somebody say something, I'm curious too!

Yesterday I posted a very heart felt and disappointing post about falling off of the wagon and only having a few months left before I'm my sister's maid of honor in her wedding. Well, today she picked our dress, http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/2726/ Yikes. I'm going to need a full body, wet suit type of Spanx for…

I need a little support. Okay, a lot. Over the last month or so I've totally fallen off of the wagon. I've made so much progress, I even hit the 40lb loss mark just a couple of weeks ago. See, that's the problem. I'm still losing little by little but I'm starting to slowly go back to my old fast food eating habits. I can…

I'm in! Let me know when you want to discuss seasoning options for our New Low Calorie Fry

If you've lost 65lbs and you're eating fries, homemade even, then you're my hero!

They are the devil and I can't stay away from them. I've been on this site since July and have lost 38lbs. But, here I am having Arby's curly fries 2 days in a row. Am I NUTS!? CURLY FRIES, people! It's like I haven't even been paying attention! I managed to lose 3lbs over Thanksgiving and Christmas and now I can't keep my…
