What are everybody's thoughts on Isagenix? I made a post recently about being in the middle of a HUGE plateau for about 4 weeks.
Is something like a 9 Day cleanse a good jump start? I've tried adjusting my food and workout and nothing's working.
Just looking for anyone who's done it or considered it what their thoughts are....
Thanks!!

My husband and I both were on the system for about a year and we both looked and felt great. The 2 down falls we had was the price.....got to be expensive with 2 of us on it. Also after about a year of it the stuff just started tasting gross and i couldnt even make myself do a cleanse.0

There is no magic cure.
To break through a plateau you will need to increase your exercise by 20% and possibly decrease your calories for about 10-14 days.
It also helps to do a different form of cardio, so if you walk try riding a bike or doing the elliptical etc.
Your body plateaus because it has figured out what you are doing to decrease your "reserves" the only way to break through is to change your routine up on a fairly regular basis. That could be as simple as not eating exactly the same amount of calories per day or doing a different cardio activity 2x per week in addition to your normal exercise.
Pills, powders and other appetite or cleansing programs are expensive and may have quick results but often your body bounces back once you eliminate the product and the weight comes back and then some. They often have side effects not mentioned on their labels as well.
You have to learn to do this the "hard" way, it is the only way.........eat right and exercise! :drinker:0
