Oops. It seems guys was meant in the restrictive sense...Ignore me. :)

Drink only water and tea. Only eat when you're hungry or cranky. That generally works although I find that sometimes I'm hungry and don't realise it. So eating a tiny snack (fruit or veggies) every couple hours does the trick. That keeps me from being obsessive about calories anyway.

That sounds like a bad plan. Packaged food has a lot of sodium and preservative crap. I mean, maybe a lean cuisine for dinner is okay as long as breakfast and lunch are more wholesome. That shouldn't be hard, eh?

This thread is just self torture! Ha.

I always feel strange about stats posts. Gender: F Age: 27 Height: 5'9 Current Weight: 129 Goal Weight: 120-125 (depending on how I feel) Reason for losing weight: My diet is mostly chocolate and I feel bloated. I also think I'd look better with a smaller tummy.

Supposedly they're like 35-22-35 which was what Marilyn Monroe was in her heyday. But those aren't ideal for me because I think my ribs alone are more than 22 inches. For me...I'd say 39-28-38. That's when I (personally) feel best. But I'm just me and not every woman. I'm also a bit taller than average.

I'm 5'9" and I weigh 130lbs. Which might be a bit skinny for a man but suits me fine. I am thinking about getting down to 125 though. Not sure if "guys" means just men or people generally. Anyway, I've got skinny legs but a bigger upper body.

You have to be pretty damn slim to lose your period. I've been down to BMI 17 with a period no problem.

Set it to gain, not lose.

Muffins, bagels, and scones. They are super carb dense and don't fill you up much.

I'm relieved you eat. I thought skinny girls didn't eat.

I have had the same breakfast everyday for almost 10 years. A toasted english muffin with peanut butter and sliced banana. It's filling, tasty, and easy to make. If I'm not very hungry that morning I'll just have half of the muffin.

Not sure if this is helpful but because I dislike structured plans I'm just doing 5K every 2 or 3 days and timing it. The first time I had to walk a few times, but I finished and that felt good! At least it gave me something to improve on.

I have thin wrists too (small frame) and I look and feel best from 128-140lbs. I only got under 125 once due to illness and it was not a good look on me. I gave a fairly big range because it really depends on your fat to muscle ratio. If I'm building muscle I feel fine at 140lbs. If I'm just running a lot or getting no…

Hi everyone! I'm 5'9" and 130lbs. Last time I checked my measurements were 39/29/38 I'm mostly just interested in maintaining right now but I wouldn't mind losing a couple pounds. My issue is that I put on all my weight in my middle. Skinny legs with a tummy.

I don't know whether artificial sweaters are bad for you or not. However, they train your pallate to prefer really sweet things and I don't think that's condusive to long-term health. I love fizzy water. It's 0 calories, filling, tasty, and satisfying. If you find it too bitter you can add in a little juice to get a…

Boob shrinkage is part of the reason I want to lose some weight. I am a 34 DD right now and really want to get back into a D cup so that my shirts fit again.

Hi everyone. I am going back to school in September for my masters and can't wait! I'm determined to use the school gym as much as possible and really take the opportunity to get in shape. I've always been intimidated by weights but my boyfriend has been teaching me some basic routines that I can keep up with next year.

I set it at 1.5 lbs/week. My family is having a reunion at the lake in the first week of August and I was hoping to look good in my swim suit by then. ;) I suppose I should just keep doing what I've been doing for a bit, by adding in vigorous exercise but assuming light exercise under my activity level. I'm still not sure…
