Someone already mentioned it but I'm always surprised how cold I am. Not sure if it's the smaller body, the lack of food in my system, or the ratio of water to food in my body, but I have to wear layers to work every day.

I use a google spreadsheet with my girlfriend for accountability. We don't live near each other but we both record our weight each week so that we can't lose sight of the long term.

-Opposite to what most of you said, it drives me crazy when people jump down my throat about the word diet. Whatever you call it is semantics. What you do is try to lose weight and no matter what word is describing that, it's hard work, planning, patience, and effort. -People who say to me "why are you eating healthy?…

I stopped eating all sweets about a year ago. Baked goods, desserts, ice cream, candy. Basically anything delicious. It's really, really hard but has come with a freedom from that monster, just like alcohol or drugs. I had one relapse in February and it was the worst month of my life. I was completely out of control and it…

Some may not agree but that's why you asked for multiple opinions, right? 1. Accepting that I'm going to have hungry days. Some worse than others and that the answer for me wasn't "have a snack" it was to power through it. I got overweight by eating 3,000 calories a day so dropping down to 1700 WILL cause hunger but it…

That's really honest and scary but appreciated. I kind of suspected as such...

Haters have inspired me to create a cauliflower latke.

If I'm running or cycling 90 minutes or less I'll do a larabar, coffee, and water. I eat this about 15 minutes before I run. Depending on what I'm doing I'll alternatively eat oatmeal, oatmeal with almonds, bagel & almond butter (for 10-15 miles), or just a banana/mini larabar for lighter workouts. I was recently on a…

I don't eat any meat but don't find the logging challenging. I generally cook for an hour or two on Sunday then I'm good for the week.

It's interesting reading how everyone goes through this. For me, I don't get hungrier or get any specific cravings. I do, however, get debilitating cramps, bloat up like a balloon, and get this wash of nausea, dizziness, and general "nastiness" over me. Because of this, I feel awful, not myself, and desperate. It never…

Soy is bad. Switch to whey protein. For milk, do skim milk or rice milk if you have to. Soy has been proven to cause disease in women. Best to avoid large quantities.

Standard tandem skydiving is not dangerous, fyi.

I agree that it's open to interpretation. I keep as close to clean as possible 5 days a week but as a vegetarian, it gets a little hairy. Here's a sample of what I eat: -larabar -smoothie with spinach, kale, collard greens, fruit, protein powder and coconut oil -sweet potato, plain greek yogurt, salad with oil & veggies…

Kudos to all of you for getting out there with tris!!

It's fairly accurate for me but I'm fast tracking my first 20lbs. I just like it - tells me how my day was overall. I don't put much stock in it.

I've lost about 15lbs and stopped snoring!!!!

have you looked into team in training?

Makes a lot of sense, thank you!

Both are VILE. You both win for grossest responses :-)

I never waste anything EVER and I chucked a whole can of that stuff. I reallllly tried, couldn't do it. And I'll eat anything.

Agreed.

GROSS!! I finished it because I think it was like $5 but the whole bottle tasted spoiled. Blech.

You guys have made me feel better. I know I eat well so I don't question that. i'd never stop eating fruit - just wondered if others noticed the same thing!

I have no idea but I've regularly worked out for years and I've never had problems. I always take at least one day off a week usually timed when I'm exhausted. The only time I intentionally take a week off is after I run a marathon. Even then I'll take light walks for fresh air and to keep things moving.

I buy the whey at Trader Joe's. For smoothies, about half the time I use cottage cheese for protein. Feels more natural than the powder.

Really depends on what your goal is. For me, I love it. It's as close to whole & clean as bread gets and I try to eat 95% clean during the week. Second, I need bread to be just a little bit gross so I won't crave it. Ezekiel does that for me. It tastes fine (I eat it with egg whites) and I keep it in the freezer. I also do…

I had a massive cheat meal last night. I planned for it, and I'm back on track today, but honestly I feel so gross that I might do it differently next time. Maybe instead of saying "one meal, whatever I want" I'll do an extra 500 calories or something. Just my personal experience.

The better question is why there are so many posts like this on here. I read them, judge based on grammar and ignorance, then hate myself a little bit for not being a better person. - Can I get my waist down to 18" in 1 month? - If I only eat lettuce, will I be skinny by summer? What if I put a tomato on each time? - Will…
