Working out will definitely help. It sets off endorphins in your body and just makes you feel good that's why it's called the feel good hormone. :) Try it and you'll see.

I'm 51 and only run (jog really) on the treadmill. I also use an elliptical which is much easier on the joints. Everyone is different and you just have to know your own body and pay attention to it when it talks to you. Just like I know that I can only run o a treadmill.

I'm with you all the way on this one. I don't eat any junk (other than a Skinny cow or fudgesicle, gotta have a treat). My diet consists of FRESH fruits and veggies, lean protein, legumes, whole grains only and low fat dairy like plain Greek yogurt. I don't eat anything made with flour and don't eat anything with sugar or…

I am so pumped for you! As Emeril says "Yeah baby"!

I have these ingredients in the house just never thought to combine them. Thanks for the recipe. Will definitely try it. I have been eating Greek yogurt every day for the past three months. I'm running out of ideas although I never get bored with it cause it is great stuff and so versatile.

I can only blame myself cause I'm the only one putting food in my mouth. But I was very thin when I met my husband. After 2 years of dating put on 15 lbs. Then after marriage and 2 kids fagettaboutit! lol Just like now I can only credit myself with losing cause I am now in control and on a mission!

I have a opolar FT4 and they recomend washing after about 5 workouts. The best way I think would be hand washing. I just let it soak for a bit. Don't put in dryer though.

It's simple. A healthy diet consisits of fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat bread/wraps , lean proteins such as chicken, fish, turkey, lean cuts of beef, or pork (although I don't eat red meat), low fat dairy like cheese, yogurt, eggs. Roasting, broiling or baking or steaming foods is how…

Try PB2 Powdered peanut butter no chemicals. Excellent. 45 cals per tbs. made by Bell Plantation. My MFPs say it is great. cHEAPER TO ORDER IT FROM NETRITION .COM

For all you fellow peanut butter lovers, have you tried PB2? It's a powdered peanut butter with only 45 cals per tablespoon. I have several MFPs that use it and say it is wonderful. It gets reconstituted with water. It's sold in some stores (google it) but is made by Bell Plantation. I am going to order some today from…

I think that if you're running really haed then stop abruptly that it's probably a normal reaction to the abrupt stop. Try slowly easing back into a walk by slowing down your run gradually. Of course this is just my guess cause I'm not a doctor. Probably has to do with blood pressure.

You are DEFINITELY RIGHT! He should also be eating more too. Is he losing weight? Pain that doesn't go away is not a good sign. I do know how stubborn husbands can be though. I have one of them. lol Good luck.

Fresh fruits & veggies, 0% Fat plain Greek Yogurt (Fage or Chobani brand), turkey tenderloins, chicken, brown rice, quinoa, wheat berries, eggs, low fat cheese, whole wheat wraps. This is basically my whole shopping list. I like tzatziki for a spread or dip for veggies.

I am totally with you on this one. For the last 20 years water is the only beverage I consume other than my one cup of coffee in the morning. Even when we go out to dinner I'll have a seltzer with lemon cause I don't drink tap water. I have a water cooler in my kitchen and a stack of five gallon jugs always waiting for me.…

WOW! A big congratulations to you and thank you for sharing. You sound like one smart cookie. lol I have been dieting for a year and a half and only managed to lose 36 lbs. I am thrilled about this but have 36 lbs. to go. I joined MFP about 3 months ago and managed to get over a plateau. I believe I will get to goal no…

I would bump it up. Working with toddlers definitely expends more calories than being listed as sedentary.
-
I can only tell you what got me over a plateau and that is not eating anything made with flour. Even though I was exercising I wss at a standstill at 20 lbs lost. I decided to try something and it worked. No more sandwich thins or low cal bread and nothing made with any kind of flour. For breakfast I eat plain no fat Greek…

I would say with regular workouts that you are active.

Congratulations! You look amazing and your arms are very toned.

Well said. Thank you

Sorry can't help but did it just fall off the strap? I just purchased one and am hoping it's secure enough with the snaps so that I don't have to worry about losing it.

Oooooh, very nice. Color rocks!

I wouldn't be annoyed at all but if I didn't want to track anymore for whatever reason an e-mail from an MFP is not going to encourage me to do so, but knowing someone is thinking about me would make me feel good so I see no harm in sending a "hello".

How about baking the apples with a little cinnamon and brown sugar. Have you ever tried frozen fruit? I use frozen mango chunks (defrosted and pureed) in my Greek yogurt.
-
I make a mango smoothie with Dole frozen mango chunks, plain greek yogurt, agave syrup and skim milk.
-
How about fat free evaporated skim milk with agave.
-
I was going to say agave nectar but you came up with that already.
